So hang in there & collect your votes, then we can nominate you to run for DOTD :) ~ Since you all enjoyed the Screaming Toad so much, mom says I have to share my bear story also. A couple of summers ago, we took a trip to Marquette MI located on Lake Superior to visit my skin Sis & Chi cousin Riley. While we were there, we decided to hike up Stone mountain. As we neared the top, we could hear & see the bushes rustling. We couldn’t see what was in the bushes until a bear jumped out & scared me half to death. I was so scared that I immediately emptied my anal glands onto mom’s legs & shorts. This is the part where mom corrects me & tells you that it wasn’t a bear that jumped out, just a young boy. I’m sticking with the Bear though as the boy part makes me look a little cowardly. So there we were at the top of the mountain with mom covered in anal juice & nothing to clean herself up with. Needless to say, she did not enjoy the view from the top, the hike back down or 45 minute ride back in the car. Let’s just say the windows were rolled all the way down on the car & we were about ready to make her ride on top of the car. Mom now makes sure to always have wet wipes on her when we travel. BBS. Hi Sunny, so like now I'm starting to finally smell normal again after my close and I mean close incounter with that skunk. Don't you know it, it's raining like crazy last night at barn lock up time and mom and I have to go out and check on the kids, and I need my before bed potty trip also. I'm now getting rained on, that just woke up the lovely skunk odor on my head. Poor mom, couldn't breathe again last night when we were in bed. I like to sleep right next to her and I was stinking her out again. But she never told me to get off the bed, mom loves me! Harley

Regis ~ 116698 Hi Sunny the Eski-Poo. We left you vote and a freind request. ~ I have been asked to re-tell the Tale of the Screaming Toad. Unfortunately for me, this is a true story and the name has not been changed to protect the innocent. Last summer we traveled down to TX to Possum Kingdom Lake for our family reunion. I have a very shy bladder & have a really hard time going potty in strange places. I had not been to the bathroom since the night before and now it was early afternoon. Mom was out walking me once again trying in vain to get me to go potty. That’s when I spotted the biggest toad I have ever seen next to a wooden fence. We have toads in Illinois but they couldn’t begin to compare to the size of that TX toad. So being a not so brave dog, I cautiously approached the toad. Just when I put my nose down to sniff it, that toad let out the most blood curdling scream I have ever heard. I jumped back and landed straddling one of mom’s legs. That’s when she felt something warm running down her leg. Yep, I had peed on mom and the toad had cured my shy bladder problem. Mom did try to explain to me that it wasn’t the toad that had screamed at me. There were peacocks on the other side of the fence & it was a peacock that screamed at the exact moment I went to sniff the toad. I however do not believe her and want to issue a warning to all: Beware the Screaming Toads at Possum Kingdom Lake. Or if you are brave enough to go in search of one, make sure your mom is carrying lots of handi wipes with her. BBS. Regis

His first owners were a homeless man and woman who left him tied under a bridge with a painful wire hanger collar. Nicki was rescued and taken to a vet who had to surgically remove the wire collar that had grown into his neck. His next owner wanted a watchdog and not a pet so Nicki lived a lonely life, always outside on a cement slab. Then, Nicki was rescued once again by Kathleen Daniels and her son, Donald, who had just lost their own beloved Rottweiler of twelve years. Nicki’s story, however, doesn’t have a happy ending yet. Kathleen is unable to walk Nicki, because he is so violently dog aggressive that she’s afraid he’ll hurt or kill another dog.
