Athena arrived at the shelter i volunteered at when she was only two weeks old. Under-weight and covered in fleas, along with her mother father and brothers and sisters two more females and eight males. Her family comes from a dog fighting bust. Even as a tiny puppy Bug had the attitude of a champ, always ready to get up and go. And as she grew, so did our bond.

Athena finally my new friend gets come home!!! Mom didn't even know he was all white hahaha. Mom said my new friend had to some time at the vet to get better and to see if we could find his humans. happy endings for him because are humans are his humans now :-)

Athena Wow its been a while since I've been on here. Me and mom have been so busy! I am now a proud certified search and rescue dog! I even found a new friend in a burning barn, nobody knew who she belonged to so mom convince dad to let us bring her home! I couldn't be more excited to have someone to play with!!!

Athena I just wanted to let all my fur friends to know there is going to be a special show of pitbulls and parolees showing November 24th 10pm e/p. Please tune in, for every viewer animal plant will donate to Tia and her dogs!!! This lady does amazing things for alot of dogs not just pittbulls :-)

Athena I love nice fall days where me and mom can just sit outside and enjoy the weather. Today we went to the park, I really like that baseball field, mom let's me run until I can't run any more. :-)

Athena It is with tremendous anger and sadness that I share this with you. Wicca's appeal was refused and the Berger Blanc now has her. She is to be euthanized in the next 24 hours as per today's judgement. Legally, there is nothing more we can do. It's up to the public and the media to make a big stink over this injustice. Save Wicca and sign the petition http://www.thepetitionsite.com/378/625/628/save-wicca-from-a-death-order/?cid=FB_Share Right now, she has been sentenced to death in Montreal, Quebec but we hope that with enough public outcry, we can have her life spared. Athena We are sadden today to learn about Lennox who was killed on Wednesday in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for no other reason than his breed. The 7-year-old, pug-nosed dog had been imprisoned for more than two years while the Belfast City Council and the dog's family fought over what his breed was. Lennox was actually a bulldog mix NOT a pitbull mix but because he looked like a pit he was killed. I am a PROUD PITBULL who just wants to be loved just like any other DOG in this world!!! Please support the war to stop Breed-specific legislation, so no more families have to endure this pain. Our hearts go out to Lennox and his family <3

It is a shame.....people should not judge a breed ...every dog of every breed has the potential to be bad it is all in the way they are raised. Pits get a very bad rap as do Rotti's. Like I always say it is not the dog, but the owner.... more
