Hi Beaureguard !!
I see you've got yourself a wonderful master, and friend there with you in this picture. It is about time that we can get some real relief from the people who just don't have the time for us. Like you, I was also in a shelter, where they rescued me from my previous owners. I was abused and left to tend for myself, with my bones sticking out everywhere. It took my present masters, only two days to see that I would fit in with their family. Really I make their family a lot more fun with my drooling, walking, running, and attention they give me, to make me smile and lay graciously at their feet. They did take me to a doctor (for animals) many times to correct my many ailments. I remember them, trying to give me a cookie, but why don't they know that I only eat food or treats at my home, and only to be given to me by my masters. Maybe, some day they might get the idea straight. Well Beau, I'm only here to tell you that you and I are finally with loving masters that Really Love us. Take care as I will vote for you, and hopefully be your friend.

Hi Beau!!
When I saw you, I just stopped and KNEW I would vote for you. The only family member I have ,as far as the canine go, is an English Mastiff named Lucy. She will be 1 yr. old in July.It is not the best situation here. The landlord says no dogs inside, so I spend most of my time in the laundry room in my large crate. Lucy is in a 8x6 kennel with dog house on it. I am a Golden Retriever, almost 8 yrs. old. My mom id doing everything she can to move us somewhere that we can be free!! Well, I could go on, but I just want to say I would love to have you for my friend and hope you win dotd!! Stop by sometime. Youv'e got a GREAT mom ,too.

Dog Rescue
Beau came to me an emotional and physical mess. He had been kept in a small concrete pen for an indefinate amount of time. He was 2 yrs old when we found each other. As a result of his confinement, he was terrifed of people, and didn't know he could pee on grass..he would only pee on my driveway, loud noises still frighten him. We were able to overcome the emotional scars slowly..then as a result of poor diet and health as a puppy...he blew out his knee. 3 surgeries, mercer, and 15K later he is getting better every day. He gives me total and unconditional love...and after my divorce I needed that...he saved me too. Adoption isn't always an easy route...but to think of our lives without each other breaks my heart. The return on the emotional investment is huge. Please always consider adoption.
