Hi, my name is Heather from Larchland, IL. An adventurer & survivor, Animal Control found me eating out of trash cans & asked a guy standing nearby if he knew who I belonged to?? He answered, "Yeah, she's mine but you can take her, I don't want her!!" So off to the pound, luckily a guy came looking for his 1st pooch, I found myself living in the country & room to run. When he left for work or school, I'd take to roaming the countryside & crossing a 4-lane highway!! A number of dogs lived on the other side!! It didn't take long to expect my arrival everyday @ 8:30 a.m., accept weekends. Afraid, I might get hit on the road, the youngest son walked me safely home in the evening. My routine went on for close to a month, the guy asked if my weekly family would be interested in keeping me permanently!!! It was obvious I was quite happy with my weekly family, I've never crossed that highway since!! LOVE my mom, I'm extra special to mom, my heart is devoted to mom's as is mom's to mine. Good Night
Mommy says we have to go to bed now, but we want to thank all our DC friends who came by to celebrate our birthdays with us. We had a wonderful day thanks to all of you. Doxie hugs, Kaspar and Benny.

Hi Kasper,
You let your mommy know that when I was a pup, I chewed on the legs of the kitchen table and then all of the legs of the chairs around the table. I also chewed the door frame, a wood storage chest and my toy box. This was done throughout my first year of life. Mom still loved me though. Hey, she must not have mined too much because she got two mor puppies after me. Smidgen was a good girl but mom is convinced there is a whole lot of me in Snickers. All I'm saying is that she was born 10 days after i crossed over the Rainbow Bridge...
