My name is Andre, I'm a shepherd mix and hey, I live just down the road from ya, I live in Lake Havasu !!!
I'm a 'greeter', I have a really nice dog friend on this site and she taught me all sorts of things about how to get around and find friends and so I like to go visit new doggies and help them out. Do you need some help ?
The instructions are confusing. This is not a blog - it's more like My Space. If you want to bark back at me, you have to click on my name in "blue" which is like how maezey mae's name shows up (she lives in a big pack, it's okay, just click anywhere), and my fur-friend Angus was the first doggie to come visit you !! angus beat me to it.
Angus lives with two sweet girls, Stormie Girl and Kween Kaiah (I can't pronounce that so I call her Ky Ky).
Just click on their names, and then to let them know you were there, you can write them a note and your name will magically appear after you leave a comment, it's cool.
Now - this is what the 'older' dogs explained to me about "vote bones". Every day on your page there is a "vote" that to me looks like the treats I can have in real life and to other doggies looks like a license tag And it says "VOTE" and there's an arrow pointing at it. If you click it, that doggie gets a "vote" counted on their page - that's different than the number of 'friends that visit" - that just shows how many dogs stopped by . You can vote for yourself every day !!!
Now - you are not required to vote for any dog. Nope. BUT, a lot of dogs are doing some contests and need votes for that, and some dogs just like to sit and count and if we don't click that vote 'bone' when we visit that number won't get bigger. But no pressure little pug -
However, the only way unless you get super lucky that the dogs will know you are here (cause there's thousands of dogs in this "park") is you gotta bark a little back and forth. I have a BIG MOUTH and I bark all the time - and my friends listen when I bark,
so, I may be a big scary dog to you in real life - but I'm a real nice dog here and I have a ton of friends cause I don't know why, I just do I try to make the doggies laugh, if you click my name and come say HI, then they will see you and then I can BARK at all of them and if you like certain kinds of doggies I can find them for you, or if you like to party, I can find the party dogs, or if you like little dogs only I know a lot of nice little dogs, if you would like to find a dog channel girlfriend, or boy, do I have a little girl that's pestering this old man constantly,
Don't mean to overwhelm you, I'm no Einstein, but neighbor - in more ways than one, I sincerely hope you come and visit me sometime this weekend and hop on my back and I'll take for a fun ride around Dog Channel !!!
