Hi to the whole pack & Mom Diane
Hope you are having a great weekend so far.
Wow!!! I was so surprised to see myself in the DOTD window today. Thank you to all who dropped by to wish me a Happy Birthday yesterday & for the congratulations today.
This was truly one of the best birthday’s ever. This time last year mom had her doubts about me making it to my fourth birthday. But here I am 100% better since being diagnosed with Addisons. As long as I get my monthly injections & take my daily meds, life should be wonderful for me. Mom has even talked to the neurologist about weaning me off the anti-seizure meds. We are hoping that my episodes which haven’t repeated since being treated for Addisons are over & that I really don’t have Epilepsy also. It will take 4 months to wean me off the anti-seizure meds. If however after reducing my seizure meds, I start to have seizures again then I will know for sure that I in fact have Epilepsy & will need to take the anti-seizure meds for life. So for us this truly has been a birthday to celebrate.
So for my birthday yesterday, I got this mighty dog toy that is supposed to be really hard to chew up. Towards the end of the day, the toy was still all in one piece so mom was congratulating herself on having picked out that particular toy. But I knew there had to be a vulnerable spot on the stuffed toy. After much chewing to no avail, I stood on top of the toy with my full weight & tore into the bottom of the feet pulling as hard as I could. I had the vulnerable spot & was one happy dog destroying & de-stuffing the toy that was supposed to be so tuff that it discouraged chewing. I think those toy makers just don’t have the right toy testers. I think they should hire me to test the toys because if it’s Regis proof then it really is indestructible.
And to top of my perfect birthday, I managed to snag paper towels off the counter. So we had a paper fest. Money also managed to score us some empty toilet paper rolls. When mom opened the bathroom cabinet, Money was quick as lighting & got us out some rolls. You have to admire how fast Money is when TP rolls are involved. It was like he morphed into the Flash or something.

sorry everyone another copy and paste :/
im sorry i was not able to thank everyone on the day i won DOTD moms internet has been acting up on her laptop and needs to get it fixed and then she was by her dads for the weekend and she didnt have internet over there :/
today me and mom wokeup around 5:30 and got the bows and my sisters red and suki up to go for a run in the woods, we where all pretty tierd by the time we got home so mom filled up are water dishes and gave us some ice cubes :)

Hey!
Hey Bella! Thanks for checking on me! My family and house is fine, but in town its really bad. We had an f4 tornado that came through and destroyed parts of our town, but most people I know were safe!

Hello Sweet Furrend Bella ♥
Happy Thursday! How have you been doing? I'm really sorry that my blogs have been somewhat inconsistent. Mommy helps our cat Paul (CC#225583), our budgie Spirit Cloude (BC#144812) and myself blog, so she has to equal out who gets the computer and when! I expect that I will be blogging every-other day this month, then of course in May I'll be blogging everyday that I can (which should be everyday).
Well Claire (the pregnant heifer) still hasn't calved, but her udder is bagging up like mad. It's larger and fuller everyday, so that means that she should be giving birth soon! Today is Claire and her twin brother Rokko's second birthday, so Mommy was really hoping that the new baby would make his/her arrival today, but it doesn't look like it.
Mommy has been saving up any extra money she gets, because she was planning on getting a guinea pig this fall. She used to have one named Penny, but he (yes, he!) died about four years ago now, and every once in a while since then she has thought about getting another, but hasn't really been serious about it until this year. But just today, while she was playing with budgie SPIRIT CLOUDE, she thought that maybe she ought to get another bird instead. Not another budgie, but maybe a Conure of some sort, most likely a Jenday or Sun Conure. What do you think? Jendays tend to live longer and are more affectionate, but it sounds like, by what Mom has read, Sun Conures are easier to care for, and a little bit smaller. Do you know much about either of them? If you do, let Mom know anything that you know about them!! Thank You.
Also thank you VERY MUCH for wishing Mommy a happy birthday!! She did have a very good birthday (on 4/8) and very much appreciates your wishes♥
