Sorry you are having a hard time finding your way around! You'll catch on soon enough. Here's answers to the questions you asked "(I'll do my best):
How to create a second dog profile:
1.Sign in to DC
2.Once you are signed in, you will be directed to your account page
3. Once you are there, go to the bottom of the page where is says your dogs your dogs name and the options to "Edit, View, or Delete"
4. Under those links, there is a small, underlined link that says "Create New Dog Profile>>." Click on it.
5. Fill out profile the same way as you did with your first dog.
How to play games on DC: No matter what page you are on, there is always a link at the top that says "Fun and Games." Click on that to start the fun!
DOG OF THE DAY: Wow! What a big question! Here goes!
As you get more used to Dog Channel, you will notice that every day, there is a new Dog of the Day in the window on left side of the page. The dog that you see in the window is a member of DC, just like you are.
How to run for dog of the day:
Before you can run for dog of the day, you must have 100 votes and a certain day planned that you would like to win (I was DOTD June 6, 2010). You DO NOT have to contact DC or fill out any forms to run. All you have to do is post on every single dog blog you can, telling them that you would like to run for DOTD and the date that you are hoping to win. Most likely, you will win.
Tip:
To advertise your run for DOTD, you could put something like this for your name: "Molly-Running for DOTD November 22, 2011." That easily lets dog know that you appreciate there vote!
