Day 2 of my DOTM run! You guys are the best. Friends are the most important thing in the world to me after family! I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you.

~~ The BEST Dog Movies You May Not Be Watching ~~
Today's movie is another Disney Production. Walt Disney's version of Greyfriar's Bobby is based on Eleanor Atkinson's immortal children's book. As with many stories based on true stories, Disney takes many liberties with facts, but the story of a man and his devoted dog that have a bond that can't be broken even in death are true and factual. A movie for dog lovers of all ages. It stars Donald Crisp, Lawrence Naismith, Alex Mackenzie and Kay Walsh.

Okay, Here Goes! My first day of my DOTM run! First, thanks to everyone for your friendship and for any and all votes during this run. I appreciate each and every one of you.
Now, For the topic I promised you.....
~~ The BEST Dog Movies You May Not Be Watching ~~
The first of my recommended movies is Walt Disney's Iron Will. It's based on an incredible true-life story and stars Mackenzie Astin as a young man thrust into adulthood when he races his team of sled dogs in a grueling and treacherous cross-country marathon, hoping to win the $10,000 grand prize that can save his family from financial ruin. It's Entertaining, Inspirational and Captivating. This is a movie you won't want to miss! It also stars Kevin Spacey, David Ogden Spears (MASH) and Brian Cox. Check it out, you will be glad you did!

Well this is from both me(Chewie)and Maya! Today, Mommy and Daddy left us all alone and went to our skin cousin Jeremy's apartment for his son's birthday! They didn't take us because they live on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, only steps. It was very hard for Mommy to do the steps and they thought it would be too hard to take us out to potty and all with 3 flights of stairs....BUMMER! Man when they came home did we go CRAZY!! We ran around like chickens with their heads cut off...have you ever seen a chicken running with it's head cut off? Me neither, but thats another story!
We made all kinds of interesting sounds and noises as we ran from one to the other and back again! I know they were interesting because we had their attention 100% and they were both laughing and talking back to us!
Daddy is amazed and Mommy said, everybody was right, I have found my brain and am remembering what I have learned in school! I have not run off, I have been stopping and coming back when called, and pretty much doing whatever they tell me to! Maya has slipped up a couple of times, but not much so they are proud of us and surprised!
I am just settling down and I know this campaign starts tomorrow and I am not gonna aggravate my right hand man or in this case right hand Mommy! See, I know not to bite the hand that feeds me....besides I love Mommy AND Daddy, anyway. I am not only cute, clever and witty....I am SMART, too! Now if I just had money, I'd be the perfect package!!...BOL! Oh well, 4 out of 5 ain't bad! Me and Maya gotta rest up for the month ahead that starts tomorrow so I better go! Be sure and check in tomorrow for the first of my movie recommendations! Have a good night!

Her Momma Says: I purchased her after my previous Rotti died. I was undecided if I was going to take a puppy that day and as I was about to turn and leave she grabbed my pant leg and I knew from that moment she was meant to be my dog..She loves fishing in the creek, taking long walks and visiting doggie daycare once a week to visit friends. Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day and hope you are having a nice week :) All is well here. Mom's Gma, the one in the hospital, made it out and home safely!! So thankful. Mom and her brother both have been sick, but got through that too. We are once again back on track, ready to go. How have you been? Did you have a nice weekend? Love you so much!

Mommy has to "run to town" in a little bit and I have a sneaking suspicion that she is going in the car and NOT running! Why in the world they don't just come right out and say we have to DRIVE into town and BUY a few things, I will never understand. Instead they are gonna run into town and pick up a few things. I mean seriously, what is that, and exercise session. You can "pick up a few things" at home and either make the things something with some weight and get a workout, or, better yet, pick up those things and PUT THEM AWAY or DUST UNDER THEM and PUT THEM BACK!! That is called house cleaning! Whoa! Imagine that! Why use up EXPENSIVE gas to go PIC UP A FEW THINGS??
The truth is, they are buying them after they have DRIVEN into town.
I wasn't born yesterday, I mean LOOK at me. You can see I am more than a day old for heaven's sake! I know a thing or two and maybe even three about humans and one thing I know for sure is, you can NEVER KNOW FOR SURE about them so we gotta be aware and alert at all times. Well, gotta go so they can "run" Left a Vote & Luv Ya!

Well, it is almost June. I am running for DOTM, Daddy's friend from the Army and his girlfriend are coming on Wednesday, June 6th from Montana and leaving on Monday, June 11th! Mommy has never met Chief (he is a Northern Cheyenne Indian) Mommy said those 5 days are very important to my campaign so it will be a challenge but we will get as much blogging done as possible! Maya offered to do it by herself and Mommy said Thanks, but I don't think so..........that was AFTER she quit laughing hysterically at the visual image of her at the dining room table typing away on her laptop. ( she has to use the table with the laptop because she doesn't have a lap. hehehe) She also needs a booster chair to reach the table when she gets in the chair unless she stands up on her hind legs!
...And I am NOT STRETCHING the truth, either! bahahahaha!
I feel kinda like we should be hopping up and down in a ring getting all psyched up for the big bout, Or driving around in a big ol' bus with Vote for Chewie on the side and kissing babies. What do they call that thing the politicians do???Oh yeah, "STUMPING" have we done that yet? Unless it involves the part of a tree that's left after Daddy cuts it down for firewood, I have absolutely no idea what that is...my campaign manager doesn't have a clue either! BOL!
