Well I only did one bad thing this week, at least I think it was only one. I do so much stuff I can't remember half of the time. Well one night when Mommie was about to eat dinner, she brought her food to the coffee table in the living room and got up to get a napkin. When she came back she noticed that her pills were gone. And guess what? Well she saw me chewing on them right there in front of her. I licked the coating off of one pill and the other one I had chewed up all over the rug. Mom just picked them up and threw them away. I thought that I was going to be in big trouble but I wasn't. Apparently, they were only supplements. I guess Mom realized it was her fault for leaving the pills out where I can get them. Well today is such a nice day here. Low humidity, sunny, breezy and about mid 70's. I just want to be outside and roll in the grass but Mom wants me inside because she thinks that I will get too hot. Well that's all for now, hope you have a good week yet to come. Hopie Too

Day 2 of my DOTM run! You guys are the best. Friends are the most important thing in the world to me after family! I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you.
Now, For the topic I promised you.....
~~ The BEST Dog Movies You May Not Be Watching ~~
Today's movie is another Disney Production. Walt Disney's version of Greyfriar's Bobby is based on Eleanor Atkinson's immortal children's book. As with many stories based on true stories, Disney takes many liberties with facts, but the story of a man and his devoted dog that have a bond that can't be broken even in death are true and factual. A movie for dog lovers of all ages. It stars Donald Crisp, Lawrence Naismith, Alex Mackenzie and Kay Walsh.

Okay, Here Goes! My first day of my DOTM run! First, thanks to everyone for your friendship and for any and all votes during this run. I appreciate each and every one of you.

The first of my recommended movies is Walt Disney's Iron Will. It's based on an incredible true-life story and stars Mackenzie Astin as a young man thrust into adulthood when he races his team of sled dogs in a grueling and treacherous cross-country marathon, hoping to win the $10,000 grand prize that can save his family from financial ruin. It's Entertaining, Inspirational and Captivating. This is a movie you won't want to miss! It also stars Kevin Spacey, David Ogden Spears (MASH) and Brian Cox. Check it out, you will be glad you did!

Hi , here is a vote.
Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day and hope you are having a nice week :) All is well here. Mom's Gma, the one in the hospital, made it out and home safely!! So thankful. Mom and her brother both have been sick, but got through that too. We are once again back on track, ready to go. How have you been? Did you have a nice weekend? Love you so much!

I'm glad that your aunt didn't get in as much trouble as she thought. And I hope she feels safe at school and safe from that other girl during the summer. So glad your aunt is on summer break and got to visit you both and see your sweet faces. So, you both are growing fast : ) Wow. We look forward to when your aunt gets her phone back (maybe she already has, sorry we're barking back so belatedly) and takes more pic's of you pretty girls.

Well I didn't get into too much trouble this week. I did pee on the floor at mom's office. I was barking and barking but no paid any attention to me. Mom was seeing patients, so I had no choice, when you gotta go you gotta go. So I did it right there on the floor. Now they know that when I bark I have to go outside!!!
Mom yelled at me 2 days in a row at dinner time. She fed me and Faith, side by side, and when I was finished with my dinner and just moved over and put my face into Faith's bowl and ate with her. She didn't even try to bite me. I guess maybe she thought I was the Original Hope. Mom saw me do this so she yelled at me to get out of there and that I had my dinner and I don't get seconds!!! So I moved away, then got to finish Faith's left overs. And you know what?, it was sooo good the first time I thought that I might try it again the next day. I did and I got caught again. I tell you, Mommie must have eyes in the back of her head! Today Mommie was outside with that power washer again. She was out there for 3 hours and her face got beat red from the heat. Then her sister and cousin came over to swim in the pool so they took turns power washing the fence. I tried to scale the fence to get at that dang water coming out of the nozzle. Didn't know I could jump so high. Then the Original Hope's boyfriend (Tucker) came over to swim in the pool. Mom put me in the pool Saturday but I got out as soon as I could. I didn't like it. Tucker's daddy picked me up and put me in the pool and you know what?? I STILL DIDN'T LIKE IT. Hey tried everything to get me to go in on my own but I wasn't having any part of it. I did growl meanly at the rafts floating in the pool and when my aunt Debby picked it up and ran backwards into the deck while still growling. Mom didn't come into the house until 6 pm and I know she is tired because I got tired just watching her. Well that's all for now, hope you all have a good night. Hopie TOO

happy Memorial Day Weekend
so sorry your aunt got in trouble. we know her summer will be very busy, but when she is able to get on come visit us. we cant wait to see new photos!! Well it looks like we have fallen off the face of the earth. But we didn’t. and of course it is all mom’s fault. She has had a tough time this last week. Way too hot for her brain to work right. Ok I know it never works right, but you know what I mean. We have had a busy week too. we will try to do better this week, but until the heat breaks I am not so sure. mom’s sisnlaw had a pacemaker put in on Thursday. She is doing really well and getting better every day. opa was told on Wednesday that they are outsourcing his job. So his last day is next Thursday. Not much notice and not too happy about that. he is actually retired from the air guard, but he loved going to work 3 days a week. Oh well. the other day me, mom and oma were out and about. Some crazy lady started screaming at us that oma had hit her car. she was crazy. We never touched her car. she ran out saying we put a dent in her passenger side door without ever even looking at it. mom was not happy. but we will let the insurance handle that. the a/c in the garage went out. that is where the big dogs are when it is hot or cold. They have a big pen and a big person mattress and stuff in there. so a new and bigger one was bought. Yesterday opa and oma picked up 2 pork boston butts. I couldn’t have any, pooh. But they had a bunch for the big dogs. Well mom made a mistake and gave Baby Louie and Jennie too much. today they both have really upset tummies. I got to the library park once and the church field a few times last week. Mom says we will not be going to the library park until school is back in though. the kids are there during the day, they have summer stuff for them. mom says it would not be fun for us, so the church field is where we will go for the summer. Too hot tomorrow to do anything though. I guess that is about it for us. Sorry we haven’t been around, but here we are. Dropping off a bunch of shredded pork and some cheesy bread for you. wishing you an awesome night and a fabulous tomorrow. remembering all those that have given so much for us to have our freedom. Sorry that we've not been on as much as usual! Losing Miss Lady was a very big blow. If we haven't already we want to thank everyone for everything:the votes,the cards,the beautiful angel,the flower seeds,Lady's ADOTD and each & every time you prayed or thought of us! We love you!
Also we want you to meet Bro & Sissy whose now going to be called Sassy & Dodger..because the grand kids like that name better & no one knows better than a child what to name a Dog or Kittie!After Memorial day we'll put their picture back up! DC everyone have a wonderful day! We love you!

It wasn't COMPLETELY fair that I lost blogging priviledges yesterday because I didn't listen when Daddy called me to come into the house and kept running all over the place! Like a friend of mine said, how often do THEY not listen to US when we try to tell them something??? A lot of times we try to ask to go outside, especially me, Chewie. I will hit the bells on the front door and whine and Daddy will say "knock it off, Chewie. You don't have to go out". Now, how does HE know? I think I know better. If we would end up peeing or pooping in the house because HE DIDN'T TAKE US OUT, in spite of the fact that WE WERE ASKING HIM TO, who would be in trouble? You got it!! We would take the fall and it would actually be their fault....I'm just sayin'
Sometimes I try to get Mommy or Daddy to play with me, especially Daddy cause he plays better than Mom. Sometimes he plays with me but sometimes he ignores me and tells me he is trying to work on his computer or he is busy in his workshop. I am trying to talk to him and he just ISN'T PAYING ATTENTION!! They never get punished if they don't listen to us!! Why are we supposed to ALWAYS listen to them?? Just not fair!!
