How We Met?

Ahhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr- rooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I'M BACK!!! Mommy just got online yesterday with her new internet service. Mommy has to see the orthopedic specialist regarding her finger. It might not be getting well like it should. Can you believe her appointment is on my birthday! Mommy says for Kaspar and me to invite everyone to come by anytime on Saturday July 31. Kaspar and I will be celebrating our birthdays together. Kaspar will be one year old July 28th, and I will be four years old August 4th. Help yourselves to all kinds of treats and favors. We will have homemade bone shaped treats, marrow bones, fat-free frozen yogurt, denta bones, doggy punch, and cupcakes with ice cream. Help yourselves to all the goodies and take a favor bag home with you. There are new toys and treats galore in each bag. We have missed our DC friends soooooooooooooo much! Doxie hugs, Benny and Kaspar. We've been offline quite a bit, and Mommy has been in the hospital for five days, coming home Monday, June 14, 2010, in the afternoon. She had a severe staph infection (pyronychia) in her right index finger. The surgeon had to operate to save Mommy's finger. Mommy can only use her left hand for six weeks. She just happens to be left-handed, but some things she only uses her right hand for. So h&p with her left hand and the mouse, which she normally uses with her right hand. We thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. All we Doxies and kitties, too! Love, Mommy Carol, Benny, Kaspar, Dot Dot, Angel Simon and Spirit, Ling Ling, Yum Yum, Windsong and Angel Kitty Thing Two.~~~I am the official Doggy in the Window Mascot for the Cat Channel A-team. I'm so happy they let me be their mascot, because Thing Two had so many good friends over on the CC and so do I!! Yippee!!..... My Dachshund of 12 years crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2006. To ease my heartbreak, my brother got me Benny.

Remembering Joanna Remembering Joanna All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life. Please come and support Joanna (RIP) and her pony, Pixie Dust (RIP) 101958 on the Horse Channel for horse of the month. We would greatly appreciate your daily votes for her. And don't forget that you can blog on the HC without an account. Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home. On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. UPDATE --- . Uncle Zan's tumor was removed surgically, it's cancer and he wasn't given a good prognosis. He is confused currently, but with time that should improve. Benny's Momma, Carol is staying at the hospital with him and will be in touch later. Please keep them all in your prayers!
