Hi Rufus
I sure hope you are feeling better now buddy! I sure hope you had a fantastic weekend. We had a very good weekend here, went to a dog show in Maumee, OH just on the southern end of Toledo. It was supposed to rain all weekend but it didn't and the weather was beautiful! Nice and cool with a breeze blowing the whole weekend. Mom and I both loved it! I went along of course to give the pups pointers on how to show properly and this time Gwen listened and actually walked around the ring! She looks lots better when she walks and dad doesn't have to carry her! BOL Blade took reserve winners dog both Sat. and Sun. (the dog that kept beating him finally finished his championship so mom says, good he's out of our way now we can win some points! She's so silly!) Lance and AJ did really good too considering they were up against that dog that kept beating Blade, they came in second to him out of a class of 5 so they were better this weekend too! It was a good weekend all around.
Mom even managed to find a scrapbooking store up in Maumee and she went and found all kinds of cool things. Dad even found some kind of tool store and got some really cool things so everyone was having fun this weekend! Looks like we are supposed to have a beautiful week weatherwise and a gorgeous weekend, I sure hope it stays that way!

Sorry about being AWOL for so long. Mom is in another of her frantic "trying to get us all caught up" modes - groan. We are having a cold spell - again! It's only 58* right now, and a high expected of only 64*!
We may get knocked offline today, too. They are forecasting bad T-storms later with high winds, LOTS of rain, and even hail. Mom is grumbling about THAT! BOL! She likes a nice rain, but not heavy storms. Especially if it knocks out power, too. But I guess we can't do a lot about it, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
But get this - she DID run around outside this morning in a little rain sprinkling grass seed on some "thin" areas of the yard. Maybe where I do some of my business *blush*. She figures if it's gonna rain for 3 days, it might be a good idea to toss out some seed. She did the fertilizer Saturday.

For your sweet message. We miss Mary (Mema) so much but we do have some wonderful memories and momma know how to cook cause she taught her things like that when momma was a young newlywed, 40 something years ago. She's in heaven and we know she doesn't hurt any more. Oreo & Hope & Bailey

Hi Rufus, here's a paw on that bone of yours. Yes, that is Paige, my new big sister, and we are starting to become friends. They said that she never was around dogs much, but I planted a kiss on her nose and she jumped back, chicken horse! Well, we did get sometime out yesterday, in between thunder storms and heavy rains. But I still have mom in the house when it rains to love on me. Of course except for when she's in the barn or riding in the indoor on the horses. And of course it's pouring rain again today, and they say almost all week, YUK, I'll have to go down to the indoor with mom and run around in there. But that's fun, it's like being at the beach with the nice sand to roll in! BOL! Harley.

Good morning
Great to hear from you - and dot worry about being hit or miss on DC. We've Been busy too!!! Weddings and grad parties!!!! We're back to normal temps - in he70's all this week!!!! but a littl rain now and then. It sounds like everyone by you is doing well!!! We're glad about that!!! Say happy birthday to Gma and Gpa for us and give them hugs too. Thanks for the steaks!!! We had sub sandwiches last night so Isaved one for you. Sophie

Hope you are having a nice weekend. We aren't feeling too good today. Mom has no idea why, but first Brandon was puking, then Peanut, and then Muffin. We're taking it easy today so hopefully no more sick dogs! Left a vote. *hugs* Muffin, Brandon, and Peanut

Welcome Baby Louie. How long is your moms brother & wife staying, is this a permanent thing or just a visit. After the holiday our weather cooled down but now it is heating back up. Next week will be warm and I think the end of this week will be in the 80's. Moms son asked to borrow some money because his wife's mother decided she wanted that money by the middle of june paid back. Mom tried to get more info from her son but he never called her back so she is not going to be too concerned about it. Have a great day, left a vote, Molly

Well we are still in Saulsberry, TN, we are leaving tomorrow for Red Bat, AL.
Our weather been very different. We have tornado watch until 3:00am. We have missed all the storms so for. Thanks to God. Moms been praying. That really scares mom living in a motor home. We been getting some hiking in. This morning we were hiking. But it was thundering and I was getting ready scare. Mom was afriad that if I got lose I would run. So mom took me home and put my Thunder Jacket on. Then I felt much better. But we got another walk, and this time no thunder. But I got really hot. I was glad that mom had bought water with us. Dad even went with us. He seen a really big snake. Mom thinks he just said that o scare mom. When we got back mom n dad went swimming. The only thing was the water was really cold. So mom told dad she was getting in the kiddy pool. So she did. He came over but didn't get in the pool. There was no kids, and mom n dad were the only ones there.
I hope you have a great evening. Mom is so happy in about three weeks I might be dog of the week on MD. Thank you for you help. I couldn't be there with out your help.

I would like to thank everyone for the 1st Year DC Anniversary wishes. Under the circumstances, I am not as happy as I would have been had we not lost Little Girl yesterday. I am truly glad to be a member of the DC Family.
Our whole family would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our dear friends for the outpouring of love and sympathy upon the loss of our sweet Kitty Cat, Little Girl Cat. She was the sweetest little thing and loved to lay in Mommys lap and lick her like a puppydog. Mommy is so very sad and has a broken heart, again, and your love means the world to us. Again, Thank You for caring about us.
Day 3 of my DOTM run! You guys are the best. Friends are the most important thing in the world to me after family! I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you.

~~ The BEST Dog Movies You May Not Be Watching ~~
Today may sound like a rerun of yesterday, but it is not. Today's movie is another version of the story of Bobby. "The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby" stars James Cosmo, Oliver Golding, Gina McKee, Sean Pertwee, Greg Wise and Christopher Lee.
Once again, liberties are taken, but the story is still worth viewing. This little dog is clearly destined to live forever in the hearts of the people of Edinburgh and , for that matter, all over the world. You can find a copy of the book with the actual true factual account of Greyfriars Bobby online. My Mommy owns it as well as both movie versions. I highly recommend you check it out. I think you will like it.
