Remembering Joanna
Remembering Joanna
All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life.
Please come and support Joanna (RIP) and her pony, Pixie Dust (RIP) 101958 on the Horse Channel for horse of the month. We would greatly appreciate your daily votes for her. And don't forget that you can blog on the HC without an account.
Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home.
On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. She had a wonderful relationship with her pony and made friends easily with all those who were blessed to have her in their lives.

I haven't barked with you in a very long time. It's so nice to see you on the DC. I've missed you. Now that you have a new little sister for us to watch grow maybe you'll be around more. Sorry to hear that. We sure hope Liberty is okay and wasn't in the tornado. That can be so hard on little guys. We will be keeping her in our thoughts and prayers as well as your safety as you go get her. God bless you all with safe travel.

Hey gang!
It's Chip! You're right Chey was busy thanking everyone. I think she got to everyone but she's not sure. What a surprise for her! Our weather has been weird too. Normally we have lots and lots of snow by now and we have nothing. We're watching the news and we think they're gonna tell us some snow is on the way. It's burrrr cold today so when I went walking I wore my sweater and coat! So freezing. Poor Chey is having a hard time playing out in her yard. It's all ice! We have our fireplace on tonight and all my kitty brothers are in front of it getting toasty warm and cozy. We got a new kitty brother a few months back. His name is Teddy. He's really pretty with long black hair and goldish eyes, but he's a big brat. I think mom posted a picture of him and Chey on her facebook wall. Try to look at our Snow Dogs album too if you get a chance. Mom showed me all the pics of your gang! I guess we're back on here at least alittle bit. So I hope we can visit more often. My Surprise!
Hey Gang! Happy belated birthday to Shadow. We loved the new photos of the gang on Facebook. Mom posted some new snow photos of us on Facebook (Snow Dogs 2012). Check them out if you guys get a chance!
Oh boy what a great day! I got up early and logged on mom's computer and I got the best surprise! I couldn't believe it - a surprise DOTD for me! Thank you everyone for this special day. We've been away from Dogchannel for awhile but recently started coming back. It is so nice to be visiting with so many old friends and meeting so many new friends! Thank you again everyone for making this day extra special and for putting a smile on me and my mom's face! I hope everyone has a great day and I look forward to visiting with you all again soon! what a surprise
and we are sorry we didnt get over here yesterday. we havent been on for a few days cause the dc was acting up. it is sure nice to hear from you all. mom and i still pray for you all every night. and Janell asks about you all too. her husband Lenard had to have surgery recently, is having more tomorrow and had a heart attack too. we sure wish your mom would get rid of more of those things called goats so you all could be here more often. we miss you. mom says tomorrow we will be really busy so we will not be on here, but we will be back on Thursday. love the photos. and we love you all bunches!! did you all get any storms today? hope not!!
