Hi again Lilli!
I forgot to add that twice this summer my aunt played host to hurrican evacuees. The first time was to my uncle's sister and her family including their cat, two dogs (60+ lbs each) and a macaw. This includes also the sister, her husband, her three kids and her oldest kid's wife and baby! That was for Hurricane Gustav.
For Hurrcane Ike they had the all above mentioned as well as my cousin Misty, her husband, their baby, their two dogs (ea. 100+ lbs) and a cat. This in addition to my aunt's two dogs (ea 60+ lbs), guinea pig, red-slider turtle and assorted fish! My aunt, umm, asked my mom to please keep me at home while they were all there. Some of the dogs had to come to my house to get some running room in my backyard for a while. That was ok, as I now had new smells to smell! And, a month ago my cousin Misty came up again with baby Jason, her two dogs again as well as Misty's in-laws' two mini-doxies and their 6 puppies (the in-laws were in Fla. and Jason's daddy was on duty with the Coast Guard). Jason was teething and Misty was having a hard time so they came to get her and all for the weekend. Phew! I think that is all!
