Its the last day of August and I want to thank every dog on DC who voted for me this August for DOTM August 2009. Thank you so much to every dog who voted for me daily this August and I want to thank all of the dogs that voted for me when they could. That really means a lot. I made so many new friends this month and I had so much fun running this month! Thank you again to all! I really hope that I win but whether I win or not I want to wish good luck the Alabama Gang and Rooti. This is my final recipe of the month and it is a doggie party cake! I hope that you all enjoy it! Thank you so much again. I really appreciate all that the dogs on DC have done for me this month! Thank you! ~Your bud Buddy~
Home Made Party Cake
2/3 cup ripe mashed bananas
1/2 cup softened butter
3 large eggs
3/4 cup water
2 cups Unbleached Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Frosting:
2 cup mashed banana
1 tablespoon butter
6 tablespoon carob flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoon unbleached flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon

We have Million Dollar Paws!!
We really need your help. Mom has been working so hard for our shelter, The Humane Society of the Nature Coast, Inc. They are in the Zootoo $1 Million Dollar Shelter Make-Over Contest. We made it to the 10 Finalists, a one in ten chance of winning, who would have though that, a little bitty shelter like ours!! We need you to go to humanerescue.org and click on the Orange Zootoo Bar and join Zootoo, make sure that you post a Profile Pic, it can be of you or your mom and please do a user search for Coopiedo and send me a friend request. Please pray for Leo 64415
It was only Dogchannel that used to be cut off,but now we cannot go online at all,only to local pages from South Africa which is really no use,because we really only visit international sites. Our server,Telkom, is not responding very well. But we ask you to keep Leo in your prayers. He has been having a bone problem for about two years now. We thought that it was probably his weight and cut down on his food by 50g. Leo seemed to have recovered,but in late 2008 he started walking with a limp. When there are thunder staorms and we let the dogs in,he lies on his favourite spot and when we want him to go outside again for some fresh air,it generally takes him ages and ages to get up and hobble to the back door. As I am typing this right now,he is limping past. Awhile ago , when he went for rabies injections,the vet said that his bones are rubbing against each other and that we must give him a Panardo daily. It doesn't seem to be working. Please guys,keep Leo in your prayers so that he may have some happy Golden Years.
