How We Met?
My dog that is now in heaven, Dixie, ran away when we first moved to our new house because she thought we were leaving her. We couldn't find her for 4 months so we decided to get Shamrock. On the fifth month someone called saying they found a dog. We went to check it out and it was her! She and Shamrock got along well, and behind our back, they breeded. that summer Dixie dug a den and had her puppies. We didn't know. The night of, apparently, Dixie had a fight with the coyotes over her puppies. That morning she came back all torn-up and scrached carring 3 little survivor puppies. we helped her out and gave her a blankie and water and tried to nurse her back to health, but sadly, a week later she passed away. That was the tragic end of my favorite dog. We kept 1 out of the 3 puppies. The one we kept looks almost exactly like her. I miss Dixie so much, but I love Shamrock and Champion!
