Melian (In Memory of Tiny) How are you doing? Tuesday was the anniversary of the first day I met mama. Yes, it's been 4 years since I first set eyes on mama! We liked each other right away! We just never seem to get caught up with everything that needs to be done. Yukon & Peaka • Please vote Angel Indigo 107647 DOTM in June Hi Bob! Sorry we've been mute mutts lately! We missed you! Mum just got back home today from her trip at our lodge on Lake Clark. She had a wonderful time! She did miss her fur kids though. We were being taken care of by grandma, who is a sweet lady and always does a good job. But all of us are happy to be back together with mom again :) Guess what? Mom climbed her first mountain! It's called Tanalian, and is the "mountain mascot", if you will, for the town of Port Alsworth. There's a photo of it on our page. Mom's grandparents from her dad's side are here visiting us all the way from Norway. It's too funny how they talk to us dogs in Norwegian! We know they're giving us loads of compliments ;) Mom got back from her trip just in time, as it's a special day here. Our kitty bro, Mickey is 5 years old today, and more importantly, it's Peaka's 7th & Yukon's 5th Gotcha Day! WooHoo! We brought you a tray of Yukon's Yowzer yum yums and Peaka's Pawfect Pawrty Pupcicles. he,he.he...... Our Angel sister, Indigo is very excited for her June DOTM run. Yukon & Peaka • Please vote Angel Indigo 107647 DOTM in June ~:♦:~ Hi Bob! ~:♦:~ Mom's practice driving is going Grrrreat! She's just loving it. Her brother has been looking for his perfect first dog for a long while. We want to get the right one, so it's taken some time. We thought we found it at our local Nikiski Animal Sanctuary. He was an adorable lab mix named Chachi. Very, very sweet! Before bringing him home, Mom and her bro took him to a few different places. First to get a bath at the self dog wash. He acted calm and was extremely well-behaved. They just fell in love with him, but when we got home we saw a different side of him. He chased our cats in hunting mode and went after our bunnies & gerbils like crazy. We kept him for several days and tried to make it work, but his prey drive was just too strong. We have A LOT of smaller critters at our place, from chickens & mini goats to pet mice. We were very sad that it didn't work out with Chachi, but we know it would be a smoother ride for everyone if we started out with a critter-friendlier dog. The family is just spoiled by the two of us.....he,he.....and they have high expectations on the third canine to the park. So we'll keep looking for the missing member of our trio. Meanwhile Chachi will be having a ball at the awesome animal sanctuary, where he has lots of doggy friends and a loving home environment. We posted a couple pics of Chachi & Peaka sleeping together.....Talk about twins! Here's a sunny vote for you and wishes for a fun-filled Friday!

Keshia Hi! Bob! April 11 and we have another snow storm. Plus the computer just turns off when it feels like it. We had four UPS trucks on our street this morning - one was struck and three more trucks came to help. That was unfortunate but the city would not come to plow our street (we complained for three weeks) so thanks UPS for being stuck and blocking traffic - when three school buses could not get by the truck - the city came and cleared the street within one hour. Have a great day - keep warm and safe. If the computer does not want to start again, we would be offline for a few days but we will be back. Keshia.
