last year i for christmas i bought a pit bull pup and we called her Maggie.She was so smart, but unfortunatly i didn't know about the pitbull ordinance the city had banned all pitbull dogs. i didn't know that and i had to get her a new home in 24 hours. she ended up going to a really good home. Scince then i have always wanted another pitbull. So about 3 months ago i went to the local dog pound and found my baby. he was so tiny. with out hesitation i adopted him. A day or two after we brought him home he became very ill. I took him to the vet and they told me he was in a very aggresive stage of namonia and distemper. they took heim in and put him on antibiotics and gave him 24 hours. my heart was broke when i found this out he had only been in my family for 2 days and i cried like i was losing my best friend. i called the vet the next morning and they told me he was doing better. as he got better we found out that he had almost died of k9 influenza. it took him over a month and a half of antibiotics before he was back to being a playful puppy. he has gaid lots of weight and is very happy. the city let us register him as a American Bulldog. I got to keep him and he will grow up with my son.
