Well, just like in Bruiser's story, I always wanted a bulldog but never thought I would be able to afford one. When my husband got deployed to Iraq we did a lot of saving. When he came home (safe and sound thank goodness) he told me he wanted to buy a dog. So I did my research and found a local breeder. We meet the breeder and the pups and decided we were going to pick Bruiser. Well, he was too young to come home with us just yet so we went back a few times to visit. On our last visit, out of the whole litter little "Shirly" (as she was names at the time) was the only pup left that no one had picked. It broke my heart and I guess my breeder could tell I had fallen in love (Again) and wanted to take 2 bullies home instead of just one. My breeder gaves us an offer we couldn't refuse ( a discount if you will) and we ended up with two bullies instead of one!
