My husband & I were staying in a hotel one weekend and he is looking out the second floor window of our room. Out into an alley way he saw a dog that kept coming out from under a shrub when someone would walk by. He called me to the window and we watched this little dog follow people walking by trying to get their attention. When they wouldn't see him he would put his head and tail down and head back under the shrub. He did this a few times until I told my husband to go down and get the poor little dog. He brought him up to our room and handed him to me and he was so calm. I held him close to my shoulder and he put his head on my neck as if he was trying to hug me. At that moment I was in love with this dog. He had fleas, worms, his coat was very dry and his nails were so long they curled under his toes. We brought him home with us and took him to the vet the next morning. He is healthy and happy little dog. We couldn’t imagine life without him.
