I WAS LOOKING FOR A CHIHUAHUA DUE TO MY ALLERGIES IT WAS THE BEST BREED.WHEN I WENT TO SEE DIXIE,HE WAS SUCH A HAPPY LITTLE DOG.HE WAS DANCING AROUND .HE REALLY TOOK TO MY HUSBAND LIKE HE WAS JUST WAITING FOR US TO COME GET HIM.DIXIE WAS OUR FIRST DOG.WE NEW VERY LITTLE ABOUT ADOPTING A DOG.WE LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE ALMOST HEAVEN KENNEL WHERE WE GOT HIM FROM WAS A PUPPY MILL.IT WAS LATER CLOSED DOWN BY THE STATE AND THE OWNER WAS SENT TO PRISON FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY.I AM SO GLAD WE TOOK HIM OUT OF THERE.I CAN'T IMAGINE DIXIE IN THAT PLACE.

DIXIE Everyone is sad in my house.My human brother Jason and his wife Miscarried the baby .Every one is so sad. But the good thing is my other Human brother Larry and his wife are expecting a baby too.We pray all goes well for them.Mommy and daddy have waited a very long time to be grandparents

Hope you get to celebrate with LOTS of treats and plenty of extra attention ... you earned it! .... ... Saturday morning votes for everyone! The sky is blue, the birds are singing, there's a slight breeze, and it's 55 degrees. Perfect so far! Should be about 65 later. Mom and I already went out for about an hour and pulled weeds. Well, SHE pulled - I kept her company! Who could ask for more! Woof!

Tuffy (Tuff Boy) Hi Dixie! Congrats on being chosen DOTD! You are a very good looking guy. I love the pictures of you with you human parents. I came to my parents from another owner who could not care for me. I was six months old when I traveled the length of California to my new home. I was lovingly retrained to do everything. Mom says it was and still is like having a human toddler around. I sure love my home. I have a yard and lots of toys. I am glad that you found a good home too. Have a great day. Your bud, Tuffy.
