How We Met?
I met my parents & sisters at our Dachshund Club meetup group on Sept. 7th of 2008. I was staying with my foster rescue mommy, Stacey, at the time. She had helped save me after I was left behind in an apartment. I was very thin, lonely, & scared. She got me situated & ready for a new home. I will ALWAYS LOVE her for doing this!! I was looking for my new forever home though & needing just the right place. I found it in early September. Mommy said when she saw me she fell in love! I liked her too but was alittle overwhelmed still. Mommy said that I was the prettiest solid red girl she had ever seen. She & daddy came up to see me that weekend, & I played with her & my new sisters to see how we all would get along. I liked them instantly! I went home with them on Friday, Sept. 12th so that is when she set my birthdate for. They didn't know when I was born & since I was too young to remember, I'm no help! I am about 1 & 1/2 to 2 yrs. old the vet said. I don't care though, a birthday party is fun ANYTIME! So that is my story, & I was adopted a few days later. I guess a doxie's dreams can come true!!
