How We Met?
The best organization to speak of...Austin German Shepherd Rescue. STARBUCK was discovered at a animal shelter and rescued by this wonderful organization. They evaluate the shepherds, attend to all their medical needs, then place them with very generous foster parents. We am forever grateful to STARBUCK'S foster mommy for keeping him safe and adored. We new that we wanted a GSD, but did not want to deal with the puppy stage, as well we wanted to do something of worth for a worthy organization. We do believe that we got the best end of the deal. Our family visited with many GSD's in foster care, but new the minute we laid our eye's on STARBUCK that he was a must have to complete our family. As well, we took our yellow Labrador SWEDE along and he gave STARBUCK the five star approval and best friend rating. It was a long day and drive from our beloved San Antonio, but we brought our boy home that very night, having picked him up after visiting other prospects. My husband says that "THE BOYS" were meant to be and that STARBUCK turned out to be the one of his best decisions yet! WOW!, and they lived happily ever after.
