How We Met?
When our beloved Dalmatian Shelby passed away, we again wanted to experience the great joy of owning a dog. We bought an AKC dog breed book and picked out some cute looking dogs. We did careful research and decided a Golden Retriever would fit our lifestyle. We found a breeder and visited her house. All but one of the 7 puppies had been reserved, so we made the down payment for the last female. We went to Petsmart and bought all the puppy essentials. After some terribly long weeks of waiting, we picked up Starr. She was adorable, a little fluff ball of joy who was bold and curious. Starr may have started small, but as all puppies do she grew fast. Starr had(still does) tons of energy, and sprinted around the house in circles. Fortunately, with daily walks and play time, Starr grew into a sweet, social, and well behaved Golden. She still has lots of energy, but with a long walk, fetch in the yard, and swimming, she is calm indoors. We love Starr so much we are considering getting her a buddy, since she loves other dogs. :)
