How We Met?
Nicki was a guard dog once around here. She was thrown outside every night around 11:00. They made her guard there most valubales. They would chain her on choke or pinch, sometimes both, and tie her up to a tree with a heavy chain. If she barked when there was no one stealing, she would be punished with a kick, slap or any other 1 and a push or scrape. Her first 1 and a half years were filled with lectures and outside all night with nothing but chains and the concrete. Someone in the neighborhood looked out the window one day, and saw Nicki Grace. She called Animal Control and they came to take Nicki Grace away. Of course, she barked, as she was supposed to when someone would come but they just took her, and gave her to the Humane Society. Her life was dreadful and not very much food was given to her. On December 22, 2005 I decided to visit this very Humane Society. I read a little caption that told much about Nick's life and I felt absouloutley terrible for her. All the dogs around me were barking with there paws jumping all over the cages and kennels, but Nicki relaxed and gave me those cute little eyes. I smiled and she started to smile too. I stuck my hand next to the cage and she silently walked over to me and sniffed. Then gave me kisses. here was my Christmas prestent
