I was found wandering the Navajo Reservation as a puppy. This man and his girlfriend (now wife) found me at the DD Vet Hostpital which is a big red barn out in the middle of vast Arizona desert and countryside. There were sheep there, and horses, and I was put in a pen with about 10 other puppies, all Australian Shepherds who were being sold to help the people guard and herd the cattle and sheep. As soon as I saw the man and his girlfriend I wanted to go to them but the Australian Shepherds were so fast and fun and noisy and they all crowded to the front ahead of me. So I just waited patiently. The man's girlfriend saw how patient I was and asked to adopt me, so while she paid her vet bill she had me taken out to the car to be given to her boyfriend- the man I first saw back at my pen. As soon as I was placed in his arms it was love at first hug. I knew it- I was sent to be with him for a divine purpose. On the way home he felt it too and he named me after a song: "Me and You and a Dog Named Blue." I went to go live with him in Flagstaff, Arizona and we have been together ever since like it was meant to be from God. We've moved around a lot but every day is good as long as we can be together (and I get to chase a few squirrels.)
