Bailey wanted me to tell you that she will be running on "singles" in Banham, TX the last weekend in June, just in case you'd like to see her run. It will be her first actual competing in races. It's not on a 4 dog team yet (she's still in training) but still fun to watch her compete one dog to one dog. You can call mom or e-mail her for details as to where exactly. Bailey is REALLY fast too. Much faster than I've ever been. We are so proud of her cause when she does start running on a 4 dog team she will be running the our FAST team. These dogs run in 15 to 16 seconds (as apposed to the 18-19 second team I ran with).

Hopie Too Hi Kas, thanks for stopping by. Mom got a call from Life Alert today about 7am and they said that they received a call from Mom's Aunt Helen's pendant and that they didn't get a response from her so they called Mom's phone. Mom got up out of bed and found her on the floor on the bathroom floor shivering. She said she was there about 1 hour. Life Alert called for an ambulance. We don't know how long she was there, maybe she just didn't push the button on the pendant because Life Alert is usually calling on the machine within 1 minute and if no response the dispatch an ambulance. Mom tried to help her up but all she could do was give her a blanklet until the ambulance arrived. Mom hurt her foot trying to help Aunt Helen and now she is in a lot of pain. She wasn't allowed to bear weight on it but she did and now she is paying for it big time. So the ambulance came and took Aunt Helen to the hospital because she started throwing up which I thought Mom was going to lose it too when she saw that. She seemed disoriented so they took her to the hospital just to be safe. So now it is just me and Mom here all by ourselves. I try to help her out but I think I get in the way more than anything. Mom goes back to her doc tomorrow to get the football size bandage off her foot, stitches out, and probably x-rays again. So I guess we will find out tomorrow how much damage Mom did to her ankle tomorrow. Right now I am letting her on the computer with her foot up on the wheel chair and as soon as she is done it is back in bed for her!!!. Hope you all have a good day. Hopie TOO
