Franki is in ICU since 8am this morning .. he was in Respiratory distress with CHF(Congested Heart Failure.) At 11a he was worse and 1pm he vomited up what looked to be a ham bone .. though he's never had one before? And it did bring some relief to him. His temp is 104.5, and he also has a collapsed trachea area - and for certain an infection. He is on his 3rd bag of fluids, has had 2 antibiotic shots, lasix and prednisone ..chest xray- he will have extensive blood work to help them discern meds to use to help him .. he did have an Enlarged heart, fluid pockets in his intestines and stomach prior to vomiting .. they believe one of the areas they thought was a pocket of fluid was that bone he vomited - he was much better at 1p when I saw him then at 11a .. I was up with him all night long at home Friday .. keeping fans on him, humidifier, moving him every 2hrs .. giving him oral meds of antibiotics, lasix, and prednisone so glad I started all that during the night .. it may make the difference in his outcome. The Vet was greatly relieved that his condition improved after he vomited .. said he was still in the woods, but not as critical. I am heart sick as you can imagine. Rex is out of town but will be home tomorrow. Diane

Muffin, Brandon, and Peanut Hi Kyler! We hate this DC...it's horrible, compared to the old one. Most of our friends are really upset about it, too...there is a petition page (236665) if you want to sign it, to get the old DC back. The worst part of this whole mess is that several dogs are leaving because of it :( DC doesn't seem to care, lots of dogs are fed up with that too. Sad to say, but the more we learn this DC the less we like it. We've figured out the main parts of the site now (except the inbox, grr), it just doesn't work for DC. R&R- Happy Mother's Day Mom <3 U Hi Kyler, Mom checkedd all her issues against the pictures on the internetand couldn't see one dog in the book that was a winner on the internet. Mom entered Dani in the Baxterboo contest after that one. She won the top prize of $250. worth of dog mechandize. After that she retired us from contest, She currently has been voting on MD for Boomer, Bud, & Buck. Let us know when you enter Doggie Vogue, we will vote for you. We are heading to the river on Friday for the 4th. Hope the weather is better this time around. What are your plans? Going to be a hot one again today. . ♥ . Vote 1155:) DC friends have their own secret group on FB..ask Diane of TT3 to send you an invite. Bentley has a cone ..he cut his paw a week ago in the Lake and it isn't healing. It is deep slash in the webbing between his paw pads. Went back to the Vet yesterday and she scraped the tissue and put in even more sutures this time. We have to be vigilant with the cone..he was licking his paw even with the sock. We won't be on DC after July 1st and Chewie's run for DOTM. We want our old DC back and we are boycotting!!!
