How We Met?
I had adopted her brother (from another litter) 2 years earlier... I thought he would like a friend, so I went back to the breeder to look at some of the puppies. EmmaLee was the runt, and was at least half the size of the other puppies. The breeder was having to hand-feed her, so that she would get the nourishment she needed to stay healthy. I felt so sorry for the lil girl, and immediately knew she was the one for me. Assuring the breeder (with contract) that I would provide the baby with the necessary special treatment and care, she allowed me to take her home at 7 weeks (B/c she was the runt, she only looked to be about 5-6 weeks old!). She only weighed about 9 oz, and was soooo tiny and cute! That night I let her sleep curled up on my chest wrapped in a fleece sweater...4 years later, she still sleeps curled up with me every night! She's my baby girl, and goes everywhere with me. :-)
