How We Met?

For about 3 years, I wanted a dog. I got a cat during this time, and I liked her, but it wasn't the same. On October 25,2007, my mom and I went to Wal Mart to get some things. On the way there we were talking about me getting a dog. My aunt (who loves and knows dogs well) was looking for a Miniature Schnauzer for me, so we were talking about it she found me one. When we got to Wal Mart, I went to my favorite place; the pet isle. I saw an ad for (wouldn't you know) MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS! I've wanted to save a dog from a shelter, I told my mom anyway, thinking she would brush it off, and go on with her business. But she said, "Oh! Call the breeder!" I was amazed...."wow...she's going to let me call the breeder! This is the best day of my life!" I thought. I nervous and excitedly called the breeder, and things worked out. She lived about 5 minutes from us, and I had a great feeling that I needed to get "that dog". My mom tried to tell me, " Puppies are a lot of work...." and such. I told her, " I know, I read a lot of stuff about that in Dog Fancy." I called my aunt, and told her. She gave me some advice, and the next day, I could hardly wait to go look at the two male pups. School dragged on, but then it was over. I rushed home and waited for my mom to come pick me up. An "forver" long hour went by, and we went to see them. I was talking and moving around so much; I could hardly wait. I walked into the breeders door, and he let the pups out... one being a female. I was in heaven. Suprisingly there were three instead of two. One of them (the female) kept jumping on me and staying close to my side. Another was hanging by my mom. She wanted me to get that one- It was calm and reserved. I was; but the female was "the one". The next day (that went on what seemed like eternity), and 3:30 P.M. My mom and I went to pick up my new pup. $225.00 later, Nellie Boo was mine! She is everything I need, and I love her to death!
