My husband and I already had two dogs they are smaller and hubby works nights so I wanted a larger dog with me and I have always loved big dogs, I grew up with black labs and adored them but did not want a pure black lab so we looked and looked and finally in the local ads I saw Rottweiler/Lab mixe pups for sale so hubby and I went and checked them out it was great the family owned both mom the Rottie and dad the Black Lab so we got to meet both and they both had wonderful friendly temperments and Maggie is definantly showing those traits just a big loveable moose as my hubby calls her..and the best part she has the Rottie Docked tail so there is no worry about the Lab lethal weapon of a tail that will take out everything coffee table in seconds.
