How We Met?
Indi was found relaxing at the Central Brevard Shelter in Cocoa, FL on Saturday, June 13, 2009 by her current Forever Friends. She was laying calmly in her pen while all of the other dogs in the room were attempting to make themselves known. Indi's Forever Friends had just stopped by to see if there were any balanced dogs that would fit in with their pack when they noticed Indi. She seemed very calm and friendly and extremely submissive and gentle with her new human friends.
Her Forever Friends left and returned later that afternoon with a member of their pack, Cruz. At first Cruz was not too comfortable with Indi, but after they had a few minutes to run around the mini-dog park at the shelter, they seemed to grow more comfortable.
The Forever Friends then left with Cruz. Indi thought that they were going to be the ones, but alas, they left her there.
Indi had just recently been spayed, so she was still sore and tired and was now left to sleep another lonely night at the shelter. At least the people at the shelter were nice folks!
Early the next morning, Indi was the first to be taken out to the yard for her walk....that was strange since she usually didn't go out quite this early. Then she saw that her Forever Friends had returned, this time with Cruz AND Jack! They played for an hour before Indi again became tired and had to rest. She was returned to her pen in the shelter yet again. After a few short hours Indi was again led out for a walk, but this time she was taken to the front desk and led out to a waiting automobile where she was buckled in. In the backseat were her new friends Jack and Cruz! She had been adopted!
