How We Met?

While driving home one day, we turned onto our steet and saw an energetic little puppy just scampering down the middle of the road! I stopped the car and opened the door, and the puppy came over to the open car door. I picked her up and set her on my lap, then pulled the car over to the side of the road. I carried the puppy with me to several houses, but no one recognized her or knew where she came from. We placed notices on all the local bulletin boards and vet's offices, and ran ads in two local papers. After several days days, we realized nobody was claiming her. We treated her for a serious flea infestation, had her wormed, got her vaccinations, had her spayed, and bought her a license. Mom has pretty much just barricaded herself in the house, except for really early in the morning, when she goes out and does her watering. Anybody have some rain they can spare? :) .....LUAV. Woof!
