I was dumped over the fence at the shelter last Sunday. They were closed and all I had was a bowl to catch whatever rainwater fell and a couple of rawhide chews. A friend of Mama's works at our doctor's office and saw me and they brought me to their office and sent a picture to Mama. Technically I am just here for a sleepover to see how I get along with the girls, but if you know my Mama you know I am here to stay.

Sweet Franki's yard: Hi Maya, Well my sisters have been going around telling everyone that I woke everyone up at 1:30 this morning "screaming like a little girl" because I was afraid of the storms. I guess I did, but those things were loud and scary. We hope Leia is settling in and enjoying her new home and that she has come out from under the bed so you can all play together. I like our kitties and we all get along. I kind of upset Phoebe today though. I stepped on her tail and she wasn't any happier with me than Mama was when I woke her up this morning. We know she will have a great life with you. I've had an idea. I think Chewy and I should both learn to throw a ball. That way we could take turns throwing for each other. I don't know about your folks, but mine get tired of throwing long before I get tired of chasing. I should have younger parents. I hope you and your family have had a wonderful Easter. Tucker wrote on CESSNA and Chance OFFLINE for a visit with Auntie Trace until 5/22/13's yard: Hi Cessna and Chance, I hope you and your family are all doing well. We have been soooo out of the loop lately. We are a little behind....okay, we are a LOT behind. Mama had a nasty flu bug, one of our kitties was diagnosed with kidney failure, then had to have surgery to remove a tumor on her neck, Abby had another stroke. She was doing better then had a downturn this week and we got some really concerning blood test results today. Our doctor called the lab and asked them to do more tests, but we don't have those results yet, and she has to go back next week for more tests. And excuses, excuses, excuses. Thank you for coming by to welcome me to my new home. And I get to share my adoptiversary with your Mommy's birthday. It was really iffy there for awhile. Finally had to get the parish attorney to declare me an abandoned animal. Heck, I didn't know I was abandoned. I was already here and thought everything was fine and luckily for me, it did turn out to be fine and I never knew there was a problem. A very very Happy Birthday to your GMA. You sure look like you are having fun playing in the snow. We hit 80° today, but I would love to play in snow sometime. Awwww. Thank you! I am glad you like my pictures. Sometimes Mama would like to hang me in a wreath on the front door. Boy am I running over with energy. I have energy to spare. Mama just wishes she could figure out how to take some of my energy for herself. You should see me chase a ball. I can chase that thing as long as anyone will throw it for me. Mama is thinking about trying to find me an automatic ball thrower. If she finds one hopefully I will like it better than Tess liked her bubble machine. She loves to chase pretty much anything...lizards, butterflies, dragonflies, wasps...and eating one didn't teach her a thing...so our doctor suggested getting her a bubble machine thinking she would enjoy chasing the bubbles. That stinker wouldn't chase a single bubble. Thank you for all the prayers. I am so glad they helped me get 'dopted too cause I really really like it here. I am pretty sure getting tossed over that fence at the shelter was the bestest thing that ever happened to me. We are trying to get caught up, but pretty sure we aren't going to make it tonight...or tomorrow either...but we keep trying. Take care my friend. Have a wonderful Easter and I will talk to you soon. Tucker Thank you everyone for honoring me today. This is our one bright spot in an otherwise very sad day. We found out this morning that my original "family" finally showed up at the shelter looking for me and they want to take me back. The lady at the shelter and everyone at my doctor's office is doing everything they can to help me stay with my new family. My new Mama really loves me and I really love her too and I really really like it here and want to stay. Please say a little prayer that Mama gets to keep me.
Tucker Thank you everyone for making me fell so welcome in my new home. Things are going pretty well. Abby likes me and Tess...well Tess is Tess...but we are working on it.
