How We Met?
I found Bucky on Petfinder.com. His mother was an AKC Mini Schnauzer named Greta, and she was put out on the street by her oweners. The Humane Society picked Greta up, along with a male Beagle. Greta had a microchip, so the Humane Society folks called her owners and told them to come get her. The owners said, "We don't want her! Who do you think turned her out in the first place?" Shortly after that, the Humane Society discovered that Greta was pregnant, and they assumed the Beagle was the father. The Humane Society was going to put Greta to sleep, because they didn't feel like they could keep her long enough to wean her puppies. Thankfully, a private rescue group found out about it, and they rescued Greta in the nick of time! She had two little male puppies, both of which look like Schnauzers but are tri-colored like Beagles. All three were adopted, and are loved to pieces! Greta lives in a beach house in Myrtle Beach now. Bucky lives with me, and is spoilled and adored! A friend of mine adopted Bucky's brother, and he's adored also. I've heard "Daddy Beagle" got a good home, too. I can't tell you how much I love Bucky, or how much joy he's brought to my life! He's truly a blessing!
