Happy Easter!
I hope you are having a very beautiful day today and enjoying the treats and happiness of this day with your humans. I am having a wonderful day. It's my first Easter with my family, I was too young to know anything last year, and I have to say I LOVE it.
I didn't know it was supposed to snow though. I thought that was for Christmas. I guess the humans got it all wrong. Christmas is supposed to be warm and sunny, Easter is cold and snowy. We're supposed to have even more heavy snowfall tonight.

Hello DC Friends!
I know ... long time, no bark! Mom has been busy lately with new additions to the goat Pak. First, about almost 4wks ago mom and dad got 3 young pygmy goats from a guy up the road. They have a different color than the others she has here. That grew the goats from having 5 to 8. Then on March 28, 2010 Girly Girl had triplet babies again! Last year she had triplet nannys and this spring we have triplets again .. 2 girls and a boy. Now that brings the goat pak to 11. Mom has been busy more with the young goats she got from the guy up the road than the Newborns. She has been trying to get the 2 new nannys aquainted with the triplet nannys and it is work. But the Newborns are doing fine and mom has been tryign to make extra money to feed all these mouths. So, we will stop in from time to time on the DC. We posted just a few pictures at the bottom of my page of the Newborn baby goats. (2 solid black- girls, Black with white on it-boy) Enjoy! ~Shadow and the Gang and mom too :)

Ohhhh, We are SOOOO Ready for Spring!
Thanks so much for the congratulations on our DOTD today! We were thinking maybe Moo should get it, but it's Ok...we sure miss our MooMan! Hello Shadow and gang and mom!
Stopping in to see how you are all doing this winter.We love your winter pictures in the snow.We had very little snow this year,rather mild.It is probably better we didn't get more than a few inches because without Cotton and Rusty to do paths,I would have been one giant snowball.Ginger has long legs and she is what do you call it - long and lean so she would be terrible at making paths for me.How have you all been? We have two cat family members now.Mom brought them home beginning of Dec.They were ferral cats she had been feeding at grans.They have the downstairs.Mom said they seem to be quite happy being indoor.They get jealous when one or the other gets to close to mom though and then the fight is on.We don't like the sounds they make.Ever seen a cat fight? If that is the way they are going to be they can just stay downstairs.Hope you are well,happy and healthy.Hugs and vote.

Hello Shadow & The Gang
First of all we did not know anything about the quiz master until it showed up on out pages. bol If you go to the take a quiz page it will show you all the badges. You just have to answer the quizes to earn the badges. Mommy named all our goats for a reason. Betsy & Ross got their names because they were born on July the 2nd & it was close to July the 4th. Little man got his name because he was so little compared to the other babies. Earl & Henritta are named after dog toys because it just seemed to fit them. Harry got his name from the Harry Potter movies. Miss Loretta got her name because her Mommy is named after Dolly Pardon. Dolly the goat has big boobs so Mommy kept the county western theme. bol The three nannys are Big Momma, Split ear & The Grump & the names fit them. Our big neutered show goat is Snap because his brothers are Crackel & Pop. Mom's boss's own Crackel & Pop & they gave her Snap. We neutered our little billy goats because Mom & Dad could not take them to market. Dr. Mike said they were the worlds worst ranchers. bol But he neutered them at a real cheap price because he knows how they are about all their animals. It was so good hearing from you again & we hope you all are staying warm. We Loved All The Snow Pictures!!!! We are so jealous! Hugs & a vote, Destiny & Elvira

We love your little bitty goats
and as for names, well, mom just names them whatever suits them at the time they are born. Sometimes it's their personality and sometimes it's cause of the season they were born in. We always sell the ram sheep and keep the ewes. We did keep one ram for a long time, his name was Pepper (cause he is black) and his brother's name was Salty (cause he was white). But, Pepper got mean this year and daddy sold him too. Then we borrowed a ram for our ewes and we will take him back after all the ewes "make babies"...bol. Well, gotta go. We need to blog the ones that came to see Hope's writeup cause she's the featured Service dog this month. Love ya lots. Oreo & Hope
