We used to eat Iams too
Until we found out about IamsCruelty.com. I hope you will check it out. We were very surprised, as we had bought from and trusted the Iams company for years, but after you learn what they are doing...You will never be able to buy Iams products again with a clear conscience. Please take a look at the website. There are so many good brands to support, don't give your money to companies who cause suffering to animals like you and me!! We are so glad a friend from DC told us about it, and we have switched food brands to Nature's Domain.

Facts:
• There are many people who don't realise that many common house and garden plants if swallowed can be toxic to dogs. Some of these plants include Lantana, Rhubarb leaves, Azalea, Daffodil bulbs, Hydrangea, Poinsettia leaves/flowers, tulips to mention a few. For a list of potentially poisonous plants, foods, and substances, go to ASPCA.org. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The toll-free telephone is (888) 426-4435. When you call, have the following information available: your name, address and telephone number; the type of poison and the amount the pet was exposed to; the product container or packaging available for reference; the species, breed, age, sex, weight and number of animals involved. It is also important to describe the symptoms your animal is experiencing. A $45 consultation fee may apply.
• Chocolate can kill dogs or at the very least make them violently ill.
Recipe:
• Frosty Paws Ice Cream •
* 32 oz. vanilla yogurt
* 1 mashed banana or one large jar of baby fruit
* 2 Tbs peanut butter
* 2 Tbs honey
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and freeze in either 3 ounce paper cups or ice cube trays. Run cold water over bottom of cups or trays for a few seconds to pop sicles out.

Quick fast c/p. No time for personal blogging as we are leaving in a few.
Momma's still in SI. And she won't be going to LI anytime soon. ALL of Long Island HAS to be evacuated. So Momma's parents, brother, us, Jester and Flicka are all heading to Momma's grandma's house in Brooklyn where it is SAFE. As of right now, everyone here in the house in SI is boarding up, putting things away and packing. Momma snuck some time on DC to give you guys a heads up. Most likely we won't be on for the remainder of the day, though.

1. The top of the Turtle Shell is called the CARAPACE. The bottom is called the PLASTRON. The shell is made up of 60 different bones, all connected together.
2. Lizards don’t have ear flaps like mammals do. Instead, visible ear openings catch sound, and their eardrums are just below the surface of their skin. Even so, lizards can’t hear as well as we do, but they can hear better than snakes!

Hi Sydney!!
No, we don't have any horses. We live in the city and they are not allowed in the city limits. It's funny that our neighbors behind us own chickens! I don't think are supposed to have chickens. I can't wait to see pictures of Sampson when you find them. Fila's are good dogs and very loyal to the family! Did Sampson steal food? I steal food all the time, but wait until everyone is out of the house. They better leave the cupboards shut, or I'm stealing cans of food! hehe!
