Thank you for the toy and for the Anniversary wishes. I am having a wonderful day. Mom says that the best thing she ever did was get on DC. We have made so many wonderful friends. We celebrated by going for a walk again tonight. Plus tomorrow is her last day at work for a week. She will be on vacation. wahoo!!!! I am really glad. I will be having lots of Mom time. Per his Momma: In June 2009 I moved out of the city with my cats to a place in the country, on my second day here I rescued him from abusing and mean people. He has stayed with me since that day.. a handsome Black Labby boy that loves the kitties .. even sleeps by their enclosure.

If you haven't heard, I am running for DOTM in June! I am so excited but VERY NERVOUS!
I was hoping to run unopposed so I would at least have some chance of winning! BOL!! In a one dog race, I would come in second! BOL!
All I can do is my best. I try to be a good friend and do the right thing no matter what. I will cast a vote for Durango every day just like I will vote for myself. I hope I win, but if Durango emerges victorious, then it is not meant to be and I will offer my sincere congratulations to him! I am asking my friends to support me and help me in my quest for the honor of being DOTM for June. If they help by posting to "Vote Chewie DOTM in June" on the profile page, that is WONDERFUL and I will be forever grateful. If they help by adding it to their blogs, again I thank them, and if they vote for me I want each of them to know I appreciate each and every vote given! Except for DOTD shortly after we joined DC, I have never won any contest I have entered. I truly am appreciative of all the friends I have made and the new ones I am meeting on an almost daily basis on DC! If I don't win, at least I will come away with some new friends, I hope! Thanks to each and every friend I have. I love you all!

A friend of her Moms fiancee' had a litter of pups ready to go soon after she had lost her best friend of 13yrs to cancer (SpikeGirl). Hi Biggie
It took my dad a long time to get the lawn that way. He is quite meticulous when it comes to his grass.
Mom has been a little behind this week. To top it off she was bitten by a stray kitten yesterday and has to take antibiotics and they are making her sick. She was hoping she could avoid them but when she woke up this morning her thumb was all swollen. We had a stray give birth to four kittens about eight weeks ago and mom has been feeding the mom, well yesterday the kittens decided they wanted some food too. Mom had cut up some pork chops but didn't know the kittens would be eating it. They were small enough for mom but not for the kittens. One seemed like he was choking so mom picked him up. FIRST mistake, she thought she was holding onto a Tasmanian devil! The poor thing was so scared so she can't blame him. Mom tried to get the piece of pork but the little stinker bit her so she brought him in the house and of course I was wondering what the heck was going on. She got a spoon and got the meat out then took the little stinker and gave him back to momma. Well I guess mom won't be picking up any little kitties anymore.
