Thank you for coming by yesterday to see me & for dropping a Valentine vote into my dish!
Want to hear something funny? Well guess what? I'm not a boy after all...BOL! The vet was laughing at my mom & told her that she could tell she was a total cat person. Mom admitted that she'd never checked & had counted on dad's assurance that I was a boy. They're both red faced & now are deciding if I should have a new name...BOL! I barked at the vet tech when she came out to tell mom to bring me back. She said I was a brave little thing to protect my mommy already & she gave me a good ear scratch. They weighed me & I'm a bouncy 8.6 lbs...with LOTS of growing yet to do! The vet gave me my first shot (ouch...I yipped) & said she hoped that there were separate areas in the house for each species. There is...thanks to those darn gates my parents bought to keep me out! I got a yummy treat for being a good girl & go back in 3 weeks for another ouchy shot. I'll be taking over most of the blogging for our canine crew so I can bring you updates on what I've discovered, which cat swatted me, or just to give you a quick puppy kiss. Thanks again for visiting me & making me feel so welcome on DC.

Thank you so much for the congradulations and votes. It means so much to a little blond dashie like me. Mom says I get lots of treats today! Now I will share my story to all.
So, Mom went to pick me up at the breeder. I was unqiue among all the dogs. All of the others where patched varieties. Mom thinks I'm just the cutest little thing! So, she went to pick me up. I was so adorable, all tiny and curled up. So, she was trying to decide what to name me. My first name was Rocky, but mom thought that was too common. Some of my other names where: Lewis, Raikou, and Happy. None of those fit. Then, a different family started calling me Goog as a nickname.
So, the name Goog stuck.
