My family found me tied up in a horse stall in a barn at a show they were attending .. no-one claimed me, so they took me home and made me theirs! I am a happy happy GSD!! Hi Alley and Mommy Elena
It's me Maya!
I had to go to the doctor this morning. Yesterday afternoon I was acting really agitated and hyper and wanting out constantly only to frantically eat grass!I made myself throw up once with it. Later I developed a bit of a cough and acted as if something was stuck in my throat. This was all after chewing on those stupid Hartz dental bone chews me and Chewie love the day before! They are plastic, what Mommy calls "Bumpy Bones" because they have bumps all over the middle of the bone.Mommy couldn't find anything when she stuck her finger down there to feel, but I continued to cough periodically thru the night so Mommy called the vet this morning and took me in. I am still eating and finally went poop once yesterday in the evening. The doctor checked me over and didn't think there was anything stuck in my throat. Well me and Chewie really give those bones what for and sometimes eat some of that stupid plastic and it always poops out. The doctor thinks I probably scratched up my throat with the plastic and it may be not only sore but inflamed. She gave me a shot and two different pills for throwing up and for inflamation and I have to take them all. I feel better cause I am resting like I normally do instead of frantically pacing the floor. Mommy and Daddy threw away the chew bones and said no more, EVER! It was scary. Even Chewie didn't pester me he just would come over and smell me and whine! He really does care about me! We had to wait at the doctors office because a doggie had come in just before me that had been hit by a car. It didn't make it. Mommy said that is why she wants me and Chewie to come when she calls us! It was so sad and scary, too.Iam resting now and Chewie is guarding me so nothing happens to me. He is a good big brother. He said he is too busy watching over me to make sure I am okay to blog tonight so I am doing the blogging while he watches over me. (smiles) Nothing too funny has happened since everybody has been concerned and taking care of me since yesterday afternoon. I should be okay before too long!
Hope you have a nice weekend. We are just staying home so I can rest.

Hi! Keshia here with a vote. It is a long weedend for us, because of the Queen's Birthday. The long weekend is just in time for us to plant our gardens/flowers.
Mom posted a new picture - when Mom is in the garden she used to like to sit on an old bathroom mat but I would lay claim to it as soon as Mom was not looking, then I would not move. Well Mom took the mat out of the shed and put it on the chair (thinking that I would not claim the mat) but I just jumped onto the chair. Mom was surprised that I did that but its my mat not hers.

Hi Alley and Mommy Elena...
No worries! We knew that Mommy was probably busy. Thank you for thinking of us, and we were thinking of you both. Glad to hear your leg is all better and no more limping. I'm so happy to hear that. I'm doing great, and enjoying this nice weather and no humidity. Glad you guys are getting nice weather, too. Let's hope it lasts through the weekend. Mom has alot of yardwork she wants to get done. She did the housework today, so the outside had her full attention tomorrow and Sunday. Idol was so good last night...Mom was happy that Jessica made it, but never guessed Phillip would make it, too. Joshua was so good and will most likely get a contract, too. He doesn't have to worry.

Hi! Just came by for a fast visit and to leave you a vote. Hope all is well in your world.
We have spring now, so Mom and I are busy in the yard. Mom also takes me for a walk around Wascana Lake, it is a man-made lake - it is 2 1/2 miles around and I get to see lots of people, lots of doggies and enjoy the beauty of the park. We will soon have to go early in the day before it gets tooo hot outside. It takes time to get all of this done each day.
