Remembering Joanna
All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life.

Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home.
On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. She had a wonderful relationship with her pony and made friends easily with all those who were blessed to have her in their lives.

I Woof You Friends
I'm so happy that I won DOTM. It was a lot of fun. It's raining today so I'm inside being lazy. Got some extra treats and did some barking for joy. TGIF tail wags
Hi sweet furfuriends,
Long time-no woof! It's been a hectic couple of weeks at our house so mom hasn't had time to help me blog to any of my friends. I told her my page needed cleaned up when we did our daily voting so she's letting me send a quick c/p to everyone.
Our GP (dad's dad) just got home from the hospital yesterday after undergoing surgery on Monday. He's tired but very happy to be back in his own bed...& not surrounded by nursing staff...BOL! Mom's mom is being a grump because mom has been working on her nursing home room all week so that it can become a double occupancy. It's been a rough job but the room is almost there. Mom will finish it tomorrow & will meet big sis there because she's taking the overstuffed lounge chair that takes up LOTS of space. Big sis got the keys to her new home & her fiancée has refinished the wood floors so that they can start moving things in this weekend. She has until 4/14 to move things because she leaves for CA on the 15th & will be gone for a whole month! Mom will miss her terribly but knows she'll do a good job training other employees at the new distribution center for DG they've opened there. Well, got to run so I can catch up with everyone before the cats wake up & want to take over the computer. Have a fabulous Friday & I'll bark back again as soon as I can.
