Hi Angel Mr. Cricket...
We sure miss blogging with you guys, too. We are doing great, and even though I love the snow, it was nice to have a mild Winter for a change. Hope you all are doing great and loveing this nice Spring. To funny that you remembered Toenail Tuesday!! LOL That still happens every Tuesday. We are so sorry for the loss of you sweet Mr. Cricket. We are glad it helped that so many stopped by with condolences for Crickets passing over. Mom said it helped her when spike crossed the bridge too. It helps to know so many care.
It got cold here last night. Mom had to break ice off the bird bath this morning. It's actually normal to have freezing temps at night yet but we had such a warm March that many plants started growing already. A lot of the fruit farmers were up all night trying to keep their fruit trees from freezing. Looks like they'll be up tonight again too. Sure hope they can do it. If not there won't be much fruit, if any. That will affect everyone. Fruit prices will go up and the poor farmers will lose money. Others will lose too because he farmers won't have money to spend on things. This had been such a crazy year for the weather. Sure glad we don't have to worry about the weather. We live all of the worries up to mom. Well we just worry about our next meal. Wouldn't you?

Thanks For Coming By...
Okay, Mommy has a doctors appointment this afternoon, but I don't think she is going to the right kind of doctor. I think she needs what those humans call a shrink! (although I wonder why they call them that. They are head doctors. They aren't gonna shrink your head so you look like that guy in Beetlejuice, are they? Man I hope not. I can't imagine Mommy with a Barbie doll sized head...BOL!) I do think she needs on of those head doctors, though! Here is ONE reason I think she is in trouble.
She has been trying to do something she calls a Jedi mind trick. She waves her hand in front of me and says things like, "You want to be a good boy" or "You want to listen to your Mommy". Sometimes she says, "You don't want to do that".....I mean, come on, if I didn't want to do that, WHY in the world would I BE DOING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? Is she nuts? Has she completely lost her mind? If she has WHERE did it go and how did it get out of her head so she could lose it? I have a REALLY good nose and I can smell out and find just about anything, especially things I'm NOT SUPPOSED to find, but I have no clue what a mind smells like so I can't help her find hers!!!
If anybody has any suggestions on what I can do to make Mommy get her mind back, I would appreciate your guidence. Should I call the sheriff's dept? You don't think during the night Maya and I messed up as watchdogs and somebody snuck in and stole Mommy's mind, do you? Oh my gosh, THAT would be terrible. Even worse than her just misplacing it. If it was stolen, it could be out of state by now. I'm not allowed to leave our yard. How could I ever find it then?! Well, I need to do a little more research on the subject and get back to you. In the meantime if anybody has any ideas on whether I should just sit tight and wait it out or do something to help her, I will be forever grateful! Mommy is important to me and Maya and I don't want those men in white coats taking her away from us! Thanks everybody!

Remembering Joanna
Remembering Joanna
All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life.
Please come and support Joanna (RIP) and her pony, Pixie Dust (RIP) 101958 on the Horse Channel for horse of the month. We would greatly appreciate your daily votes for her. And don't forget that you can blog on the HC without an account.
Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home.
On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. She had a wonderful relationship with her pony and made friends easily with all those who were blessed to have her in their lives.
