It Finally Happened....
Maya didn't listen! We had to go out to potty and Mommy took us cause Daddy's feeling yucky with his cold. Mommy doesn't feel good either but is slowly getting better. She sure gets tired easy, but Daddy gets crabby easy when he feels bad so I'll take the tired one any day....it's less stressful for me! hehe
Anyway, we go outside to potty. Mommy says she is taking me on the leash cause she doesn't feel like the aggravation of me not coming back when called since I am still going thru my teenage rebellion stage! BOL!
Maya gets to go out without her harness and leash. Guess What!! Maya spotted something there at the edge of the woods. I saw it, too, but I was rather restricted on how far I could go because of the leash! Off goes wiggle butt into the brush. Not far, mind you, but she still was rooting around and not coming to Mommy. Mommy had to go all the way over there with me on the leash of course. Maya came to her senses, much faster than I do I must admit! She came out of the woods and we went back to the house! I was good! Of course I had the "power of the leash" to keep me on the straight and narrow, but why quibble over details!
I could have turned into "Demon Dog" and pulled that leash out of Mommy's hand and being "Demon Dog", run to the woods like a Bat out of H-E-double matchsticks, if ya know what I mean! Even worse than that, I could have summoned all my strength, and with a burst of critter chasing inspired adrenaline, drug Mommy along behind me as I joined Maya in jaunt through the undergrowth! So see, the leash only inhibits so far. Its kind of like keeping an honest man honest only this time it's keeping a good dog good. I am doing a pretty good job of convincing myself I was the good one this time....how's it workin' on your end? I nominate Chewie for the "Good Dog of the Day" Award for Wednesday, April 11, 2012!! Votes can be placed anytime before midnight tonight! (I haven't gotten a good boy award since I temporaily lost my brain...I'm supposed to find it back when I turn 2, remember?) so have pity on me!
Wow! What a loveable sister, Maya just placed the first vote! Wasn't that sweet of her? What a girl. I LOVE her, wiggle butt and all! Have a great day guys and a better tomorrow!

We have missed you so much, dear ones. Thank you for coming by to help me celebrate my 4th birthday. I had a pawsome day; no follin. tee hee.
How are all of you? I sure hope I can visit a little bit more now. Dad is doing better although still in pain but it is gradually decreasing. Sir Leo is doing really well. He is getting more comforable with not seeing and he jumps up on lots of things now. Dolly is doing very well, too. Charlie (dad's 12 yr. Schnauzer) is also blind from diabetis..although he's getting around a little better each day now. Mom will have her catarack surgery on the 17th and is looking forward to getting it done finally. We appreciate your friendship and prayers so much. We always keep you all in our thoughts and prayers too. Have a blessed Easter.

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes! My birthday was uneventful, mom had to take my skin sisters camping with the youth group and she was not here for my Birthday. She sure made up for it though when she got home. I got a new bag of my favorite treats(Zukes), and a bone to chew on and she played with me all day, we even took a nap on her bed! (she was tired, only slept forty five min. on the camping trip) So it turned out to be a great day.
Sorry for the C/P but we have so many blogs to respond to mom would never catch up.
Mom did get a new computer FINALLY! But now we are having DSL/Internet issues. Mom is going to call AT&T today ( again) and hopefully get to the bottom of it. We hope to be back on line sometime this month.
We sure have missed everyone on DC even though we stopped by to vote for DOTM, and DOTD, as well as anniversaries and birthdays we didn't get to blog with are friends. Thank you so much for continuing to stop by and vote and leave notes. It has meant so much to us.

Thank you for the birthday greetings. And for the basket of bisquits, bones & treats! I did have a great day. Got toys and treats and played. Chipper and I shared!! Chip is doing fine. No more episodes! ahhhhh life is good. Now if mom can only catch a break. She's been going CRAZY lately, (more than her usual crazy). She says "that's life sometimes". Quick c/p! Then some personal blogging. Just wanna clean up our pages quickly!
Lately the weather has been GREAT. The past week, only ONE day was below 60. In fact, today it's going to get up to 70! One of Onyx and Domino's puppies, Sahara, is being fostered by my grandma. Pretty exciting. She's been getting daily walks with Gotti, so they're becoming GREAT friends. I'm hoping Gotti's owner will adopt her. :D Will post pictures to Gotti and Lobo's profile after the blogs are done. I adopted a Yorkie. Her name is Promise. My friend has her here on DC on her own account. Her owner's surrendered her cuz they didn't want her anymore. I walked in, saw her and she reacted to me. Came right up to me. People at the shelter said she had just came in that morning and didn't approach anyone. So I adopted her on the spot. My bunny, Jester McChester passed away. :( She caught a respiratory infection and, despite the antibiotics the vet gave her, it destroyed her respiratory infection. Along with her my turtle, Yo-Yo passed away, too! Don't know WHAT'S going on. But, just yesterday morning Promise ran away at about 9am. And we didn't find her until 4pm! Then again this morning when I went to get the mail, she ran off again. I kicked off my sandals and chased her all around the corner and caught her. Silly Promise. Gotta keep a close eye on her from now on!! Kevin is still a whistling little feller. Hehehe. That's about all!
I see two puppies in your pictures down below! Who are they? They're cuties! Momma is looking forward to the DC meetups, too! She just wishes there were more in our area and she wishes she knew how to find out when and where they will be taking place! If you know this information, please let us know! Bark soon!

Thank you for the prayers and encouraging words for my dad. He is doing well. He still has the cancer surgery to deal with but we don't know when that will be. He's in good spirits. I hope all is well at your house. We keep your mom in our prayers also. Auntie Stacey keeps us up on everything going on. We sure love her. Hope your having a wonderful evening.
