Alley Gal and Mommy Elena
Mommy and Daddy are gonna go do something fun tomorrow like maybe flea marketing so they don't do any work for a change. Mommy did a lot yesterday so she was gonna take it easy today but I thought I would help her by giving her something to do, give her PURPOSE, make her feel needed........I threw up on the bed! If you remember, yesterday, she changed the sheets when she did those 6 loads of laundry! Daddy thought he heard me throw up but Mommy thought I was just "woofing" at Bitty coming out of her cabinet hiding place! Mommy's Bad! I puked! They went back to sleep and when they woke up, well, lets just say thanks to me, they now have clean sheets like last night, but they also have a clean mattress protector cover and a clean comforter! Mommy had a purpose!....and I gave it to her!
She decided to clean out the birdcages today, too while she was cleaning the bed covers. Poohs is easy cause its small, but Ty has a big Wrought Iron cage so me and Mommy sat down in the floor with a bucket and a dust pan and slowly scooped the stuff from the cage pan and the cleaned up the empty pan for new pellets! I was there for her from start to finish. I owed it to her after the "oopsie" on the bed, don't ya think? I don't think Maya was aware of us doing any work. Maybe she was on guard in case we needed somebody to go get help!
Daddy was outside breaking his back (I know this from the way he walks when he gets out of his chair tonight!)
anyway, he was cleaning out the fish pond. It got leaves, mud and a whole bunch of parrot feather taking over the pond. Almost all the fish have disappeared. I knew it was hard work. Me and Mom and Maya took him some water and when I was inside, I cheered him on like the cheerleaders at a football game by barking non-stop at the bay windows where I could see him through the glass! Mommy cheered me on by chanting (or maybe she was YELLING) my name non-stop. Finally Ty joined in and it was quite a show. Daddy could hear us and he said it made him keep working cause he sure didn't want to come into the house with all that noise!! See, I told you I inspired him by cheering for him! Well I better go cause Mommy is gonna start "cheering" if I don't get moving! Love Ya!

Hi! Alley
Hi! Here is a vote for my special friend. How have you been? How has your weather been? Hope well. All is well over here in OR. It has been, over the past few weeks, in the upper 70s and sunny.
Mom has been really busy lately, and hasn't gotten to take pictures in a while. Since April 29th...ya. We posted those photos up just for you to see, and if you are wondering, I am watching a soccer game with mom and auntie :) "A friend is someone who reaches for your hand, but touches your heart." Wishing you the happy days this week, see you tomorrow!!

PS) Mom wanted to ask me to ask you to say some prayers for mom's Gma & Gpa. They are really stressed out due to some seen health problems with mom's grandmother. She went into surgery this morning and had a nice recovery. Please pray that they will not be stressed out and that God will show them comfort. We appreciate you and your prayers so much.

Well, Mother's Day is officially over! What was my first clue? Well, Daddy went fishing with Uncle Bob and cousin Andy and his son Brady down at our lake. Maya and I stayed home with Mommy and we did 6 loads of laundry, cleaned cat boxes, fed and watered birds, changed the sheets on the bed, ran the dishwasher, watered plants and fixed dinner. That was a pretty good indicator and then just to be sure, I looked at the calendar!
After Daddy got back, he did help unload the dishwasher, carry the laundry basket and fold the Queen sized sheets.I don't know if it was just because "that's the kind of guy he is" as Daddy always tells Mommy, or if he felt a little guilty.
Mind you, I was all the help Mommy needed to do those chores. Especially the sheet changing thing....some of you may remember my past experience with the sheets and the whole "Spooky Buddies" story!!! I do the actual PHYSICAL helping Mommy while Maya sort of lends moral and emotional support.....sometimes from the other room and, sometimes in her sleep, but I know she is there for us in her heart and mind, unless she is dreaming about chasing a rabbit or some movie star dog or Brad Pitt! BOL!! I guess we all help in our own special way. Maybe Daddy was helping after all....just from the Lake! hehehe
He didn't catch any keepers, just one little bitty fish that he threw back in. Good thing Mommy thawed out 2 boneless chicken breast or we would be pretty hungry by now. He's gonna have to work a little harder at that survivor instinct of his...he did really good being provider man when it was deer season. Now we gotta work on the fishing thing. I bet I could show him how to do it and then Maya could help me by giving her famous moral and emotional support....That's what he needs, The Chewie/Maya tag team teaching/training duo. When we finish Daddy's lessons, we will get back to helping Mommy. I know she will miss our help while we are helping Daddy! I'm just sayin'

Happy Mother's Day to your Mommy!
We had our last tricks class today and Maya really showed off! She went to class in her pink dress and pink flower on her collar like she wore on Easter and she stood up and danced around in her dress, sat pretty, shook hands, rolled over and then she bowed. Boy did she bow! Everybody thought she was a doll! I wore my white bow tie and did okay, too, I was just a little wild and stubborn at first! I'm going through a phase according to the humans. Mommy hopes that's what it is. If not, and I keep acting up, Mommy and Daddy will never enroll me in CGC Class cause I would never pass the test! I have to "find my brain" again! hehehehe
I'm kind of like the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, you know:
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain
Did you ever feel like you just have all this energy and you just go crazy and forget everything you've learned because of it? I think I have enough energy to light up the eastern seaboard if they could just harness it. Maybe I should have my people contact President Obama's people and see if we can work something out there...hmmm!
Now I know what they mean when they say "I'm so bright, my Mama calls me sun"! Like Travolta said in Grease, "it's electrifyin" That's me! Man I got so many possibilties for the future. Oscar winning Actor, Politician...like President, maybe, Teenage Hearthrob, Energy Provider to the USA, man I got so many hats to wear Mommy's gonna have to buy me a hat rack!
Stay out of trouble and don't do anything I wouldn't do...that leaves you quite a bit of leeway..hehehe

Thank you! and a very Happy Mother's day to your Mommy, and hope she is having a wonderful day. Glad she had a nice church service. You and Mommy are always in our prayers...So sorry to hear that you twisted you front left paw when you were jumping. I can only imagine how worried you Mommy was, but I'm glad to hear that you not limping any more. Even so, it's good to watch you paw, and to take it easy for a few days. Mom and Dad had a busy weekend with a fun 50th Birthday party on Sat. night, and then Mother's day brunch with the family this morning. Hi Alley Gator! It's great to be talking with you again! I missed you soooo much! And happy belated birthday, I'm so sorry I couldn't leave you a birthday blog--I probably wasn't on DC that day. We'll be on DC infrequently these next few weeks because momma's schoolwork always increases dramtically before the end of the year. Not much is going on here. Yesterday, Suki went to her first puppy kindergarten class and was labeled as a "shy dog." Momma had to keep on distracting her so she wouldn't bark her head off when she got too close to another puppy. But Suki was also told she was very smart because she did everything she was asked to. This morning we met a neighborhood dog named Gracie who always offers me her ball to play with. I was totally uninterested in her ball. Suki stayed away from us but did say hi to Gracie's mom. I can't understand why you'd be afraid of other dogs or humans...
Oh, and...
