February 17th and day 17 of my DOTM run! Chip dog here! Zoey & I are getting really excited! The snow level is coming farther down our mountain! Suppose to snow tonight and tomorrow! Oh please do!!! Mom still has to get snow pictures of me :) Hehe. We love snow. Well it was a cold day, hope your day was good!

People get a charge out of National Battery Day. It's an opportunity to celebrate a vital invention. Batteries are used everywhere, from the battlefield to smoke alarms to headsets. They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and power capacity, to fit a wide array of needs. Just imagine where the world would be without batteries. We'd still be using a crank to start our automobiles. We'd have to cart around long extension cords to bring the boombox to the beach. And, forget about hand-held games. They'd never be popular tied to an electrical outlet. Yesiree, batteries are electrifying! Today is a good time to appreciate the the power of batteries in our everyday life.

February 16th and Day 16 of my DOTM! It was a nice sunny day today, but started out windy, we watched the rest of the dog show today, Our favorites where the Doberman Pinscher, Mommy liked the way she stood and looked, She thought Fifi shoulda won working group. But mom, your not a judge, what do you know? Bol. We also liked the Boxer, Samoyed (Mom has always loved those cute little fuzzy pups) and the AmStaff (American Staffordshire Terrier). Hickory the Irish Deerhound won Best In Show. Well hope your day was good! 'Night!

~*~ February 17th ~*~ Random Acts Of Kindness Day ~*~
Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day. And, you know what to do...perform a few random acts of kindness. Almost any kind deed will do. And, I highly recommend you perform kind acts on as many people as you can. This is a favorite day of many people and groups. People like the idea of showing a little kindness to others. Its a fun and good thing to do. And, they like being on the receiving end of this day as well. It makes both the giver and the receiver feel good. Schools have used this day as an educational event, and to promote the value of kindness. Organizations have used this day to promote their cause, and for fundraisers.
Caution: What comes around, goes around. Random Acts of Kindness is highly contagious.
