Nope, mom doesn't wrap my presents because I won't unwrap them. If I smell something good I will nose it around a bit but I won't open it.
It shouldn't be this cold and have no snow! Not liking this. But it was a nice sunny day today, Just really cold. Well I uploaded some of my birthday pictures this morning so those are up on my page, Hope you have a nice rest of your weekend! Voted.

Thank you for coming to visit and for your prayers. I am still battling pneumonia and Tess is still having problems with her ears, but we are both feeling better. I think Abby is enjoying being the healthiest pup in the house for a change.

Good Morning
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and words. The DC is definitely a source of comfort during this time. We had a little memorial service for Angel Lizzie yesterday afternoon. It was sweet, and now we understand that she has gone on and will look after us from above. Thanks again, leaving a vote, Angel Lizzie and mama Becky

Hi ya Roxie
We want to thank you personally for coming by to vote for us everyday in October. We're just slowly getting around to everyone. Takes more time than a c/p message, but we like to actually bark a personal message to our friends. We had over 60 pups we tried to get to everymorning before mom worked. But we sure had a great time everyday. Glad you joined us and thanks again for visiting us so often. Did you get last weekends' snow?? We got 4" of the heavy wet snow. A lot of people believe dogs and cats are mortal enemies. In reality, they're not. They simply fit the mold of natural predators. They can live peacefully under the same roof as long as their owner takes the right approach in introducing them. In fact, it's not uncommon for canines and cats to not only accept each other, but enjoy each other's company. They essentially become friends.
This article will explain why confrontations occur between them. You'll discover the reason is intuitive to their respective natures. We'll also provide a step-by-step plan to help you make the introduction, and ensure they'll get along.
The Reason Confrontations Occur - As mentioned, both species are predators. When preying upon other species, they normally chase those that are smaller. This is the reason you'll typically observe dogs chasing cats. Cats rarely chase canines due to their size. Realize, however, that when a dog chases a cat, he does not mean to kill it. While the prey drive is instinctive, it seldom leads to that end.
Another factor that can trigger a confrontation is that both species instinctively protect their respective territories. If one pet was introduced to your home before the other, he may consider the home his territory. Hence, the other pet (i.e. the latecomer) is seen as an usurper.
With the above in mind, we'll now explore how to bring the two pets under a single household and prevent fights.

Hi Roxie!
Hope you are having a nice Friday!! Guess it's officially the weekend now! :) We're supposed to have pretty nice weather all weekend, so tomorrow we want to get outside for some pictures, still. In Memory
Hi everyone, this is Jack's mama; last night, sweet Lizzie past away. Nobody knows why, and we are all very sad. She was a very sweet girl, she loved to play outside, loved trying to climb up the slide, and loved playing with her stuffed toys. She was such a love and gave so much to me and to her brothers and her sister. She will be missed by all. A big thank you to all that wrote to her, and for voting her DOTD so early. She was able to get that badge and was very proud of that. She loved being on the DC and I know she is still thinking and loving you all. Thanks so much, kisses, angel Lizzy, Jack and their mama

Yes Mercedes and Shamus are still sweeties at Rainbow bridge.
Thanks so much for the birthday wishes everyone! I had a pretty quiet birthday yesterday, Mom doesn't know why but it seems every birthday I get sick. Usually the day before. Yesterday at 3am, mom woke up to me puking on the floor. Not a fun night but I was feeling better later that day but I have always had a weak stomach so no cake or anything for me, Just 2 or 3 treats. Mom says she is going to go get me some more tennis balls but the country store was sold out when she went on tuesday! But she did get me a giant one. She also got me two fluffy ropes, I'm not really a "rope dog" but my motto (Well one of them, Bol) is that "Any toy that is fluffy has to be chewed up!" So mom is trying to preserve the ropes for a little while, Bol. As soon as she lets go of one end its on the floor with me trying to tear it up. She also got me this Hyper Pet Tuggin' Tails thing. (Fitting for me. I am always hyper! Mom says they have some good stuff too) anyways, what that is, is this little stuffed dog with a ball in its mouth attached to a bungee cord thing and then mom is supposed to hold on to the tail while I grab the tennis ball and play tug of war. But I haven't quite grasped that concept as I keep grabbing the actual dog instead of the ball. Bol. Well it squeaks and its fluffy! What did she expect?!Then I got a squeaky cupcake, a little box of gourmet cranberry bones, and a bag of pupperoni!
Well, Without my crate, moms been coming home to find me running to the door to greet her but also looking like I did something wrong, So she usually goes and feels the couch, Sure enough its still warm. So I get in trouble for "illegally" sleeping on the couch (Even though there is a perfectly good bed at the other end of the house for me to sleep on!) Bol. But thats all I've really been doing wrong and she says its not really a jail-worthy (crate) offense, But she still doesn't want me on the couches.
