TGIF. Hope you had a great day.
My eye is much better. Money's nail still bleeds when he bumps it. Chi cousin Riley is doing good. So it looks like our week is ending much better than it began.
I tried to steal the toilet paper tonight. Mom had left it on the counter behind some cleaning stuff. Since it was blocked off from the front, the only way to get to it was from the side. Mom heard the toilet lid slam down so she had to investigate. Sure enough there I was standing on the toilet with my prize right in plain sight. Unfortunately she caught me before I could snag it. Darn that loud toilet lid for giving me away.

Thank you so much and what a surprise! I am getting extra treats and several walks today and all kinds of attention! I am a happy and pampered puppy! Yeah! I didn’t know I was even up for DOTD today but it sure is fun and mom is happy!!!! Love you all and many hugs and puppy kisses!! Thanks for all of the votes!!Let’s all go for ice cream! (I think Mom will do that too)

A sweet little Cutie pie poodle girl new to the channel is running for dog of the day unknowingly to her !! She was nominated by Chewie.~n~.Pak. She is now in obedience classes and her Momma hopes she learns a lot! She has a couple of tricks: sit; and above all, jumping over baby gate when confined to the master bath when left alone!!! Be sure to give her a paw of fellowship tomorrow [and leave a silent vote], welcoming this baby doll to the DC Family!

Hi Hollie & Bindi
Thank you everyone for the prayers & get well wishes for Regis & Money. It’s been an eventful 24 hours for us.
First we will start with an update on Money. They had to completely clip away Money’s outer nail. So now all he has is the quick. We have to wait & watch as the outer nail grows back. Hopefully it will grow back over the quick but there is a good chance that it will grow out separately & not cover the quick. If it does that, then Money will require surgery. His foot is all bandaged up but still very sore. He is limping around & only going outside long enough to go potty & then wanting right back in.
Regis also had to go back to the vet today for his eye. When I came home at lunch & put the ointment in his eye, it filled with blood. And the blood wasn’t coming from the puncture wound above his eye. So they put some numbing drops in it before looking inside his eyelids. Turns out he has a puncture wound inside both the upper & lower eyelid also. They said his eyelids may bleed off & on for awhile so I just need to blot the blood away. Not sure if it’s just that the numbing drops haven’t worn off yet but he seems to be his normal troublesome self. I already caught him counter surfing :) And he seems to have forgiven Abbie as he’s currently playing with her.
I still have not figured out how Money split his nail by falling out of bed though. But he did manage to knock over the nightstand & everything on it in the process. He never yelped or whimpered and it was 1am so I just picked everything back up & went back to bed. Had no idea he had injured himself & Money was smart enough that when he got back on the bed, he laid on the side next to the wall. Guess he was making sure that he didn’t fall out again.

Thank you for all of the wonderful Happy Birthday wishes for mom. What wonderful friends we have made on DC. We love all of you. Mom said this birthday was truly a birthday to celebrate as I am doing so well. Last year I had 2 seizures the night before mom’s birthday & 2 more the morning of mom’s birthday. Now we know that was probably the onset of the Addison’s & the treatment for it is working.
Yesterday evening, mom tried to sneak a walk in for me before the rain. We were 1/2 way through our walk when it started sprinkling. They have our roads all tore up & they are hard enough to walk on dry so mom wanted to get home before they turned to mud. So she says "Come on Regis let's run". Mom must not understand what running is because I never broke out of a fast walk but we did beat the rain. Guess I should give mom a break on the running after all she did turn another year older & I guess I should be happy that she even thinks she can run :)
We had severe storms roll through here this afternoon. The weather people said the clouds were loaded with golf ball size hail and when they decided to bust loose it was going to be bad. We lucked out in that we were on the outside edge of the storm & our hail was about penny sized. Pooh & Abbie hate storms. Abbie took refuge in the bathtub & Pooh velcroed himself to mom.
