I thought I would start by telling you
that I feel very lucky to be in this family
of mine.
When I first came to live with Tasha and
Mommy and Pa Pa I was very frightened and
didn't know if I would be able to stay.
The first time I met Mommy and Pa Pa they
came to get me at a house with lots of other
dogs.
Most of them were larger than me but I didn't
care because they were all my friends. At that
time, the lady that took care of me named me
Joey.
Mommy says she will never forget that because
it was given to me out of love from this kind
lady that worked with Shih Tzu Lap Dog Rescue.
I guess they had to call me something to give
me an identity and make me feel like I belonged.
When I got into this big white car to go home
with Mommy and Pa Pa, I wasn't sure where I was
going.
It was a long ride but I felt safe laying in
between Mommy and Pa Pa in the car. When we
got to my new home I met Tasha.
It was fun being with someone my own size.
Tasha seemed happy to have me for a new
friend.
