Good Night!
It was cold today! The high was 39! BRRR! Its suppose to warm up the rest of the week but rain Saturday & Sunday! Hope you had a great Tuesday! Have sweet Dogie dreams tonight! Love ya!

The lady hadn't given mom the recipes yet so mom found some on the web, and a site the a vet told you what to add. Mom feeds us a premium dog food too. But she had dog that had gotten very I'll on the recalled the really big recal. That's has had mom really scare since. Her dog almost died, and was left with a lot of heatlh issues. Give your e-mail and mom will send them to her. I hope you have a great evening.

Hi Ginger....
We are so sorry to hear abt your kidney disease. Daddy has trouble w/his as well as he is diabetic and has to be monitored because the meds for his diabeties is hard on the kidneys. His readings are fairly high but not over the limits and for all we know diaylsis may be something he will have to endure in the future. We know it is a very big worry. We hope you are ok now though.
Well it "was" beautiful weather here for the New Years weekend. In the 50's and very balmy but last night it rained, the temps dropped and it's blowing a gale out today. The wind is one thing I am not crazy about. Noisy and stuff swirling around does scare me. I think I will stay on my new Christmas blankey I got and just rest today. I finished off my big peanut butter bone so I need to find some more treats. They went to a relatives house and had him show Moma his Apple IPad. Moma wants either a laptop or tablet and was going to see if the onscreen keyboard was ok to use for Facebook and Dog Channel. She got use to it pretty fast but she may just be more comfortable with the laptop. The only problem is the laptops are being replaced by the tablets and actually this would be an opportunity to update her skills. What to do, what to do? More thinking is required & if you have any input abt either one we would appreciate your thoughts. Really cold here tonight and we actually had some snow flurries although nothing really happened. I guess its just praticing!! hugs LilyPup

We are so sorry to read that you have kidney disease, Ginger. We will keep you in our prayers and hope that this New Year brings only good things and good health your way! How is your first day of 2012 going? This morning mom and I got up early and headed out to go skijoring and we saw the most beautiful sunrise ever!! It was so pretty peeking out from behind the frosted trees, making all the branches glitter and shine. After we got home mom took Yukon on his turn. He's pulling more and more each time. Mom is so proud of us!
Did anyone make the Apple Cinnamon Drops that HONEY 218255 (our DOTM candidate) shared the recipe for in her blog on Friday? We did and they were awesome!! When we were all done skijoring today, mom gave us some and we loved them. The treats are almost perfectly round and mom rolls them down the hall for us to chase, just like balls.
We hope you are having a wonderful day.
So far it has been a great year! BOL.

P.S. Rest In Peace sweet Acorn, Melian 141414's squirrel friend. She passed away yesterday and we know her family misses her very much! :(

Wishing you a Very Happy, Healthy New Year, and all the best for 2012!!! Hope you all had a great Christmas, and Santa Paws treated you well. Sorry hear that you are having problems with you kidneys, and prayer that medication helps you get better. We've been having warm temps in the 50's and 60's for the past week, so no snow for us. Happy New Year Ginger n family
I'm so sorry to hear about your kidney problem. There are two dogs in the park that were in kidney failure. And thru a diet of home made dog food. They are doing so much better. They had told mom that the vet told them that there isn't any dog food on the market that he would eat if there was no food. That he would eat dirt first. So they started making there own with his help. There dogs have improved. Mom is going to start making our food. She getting the recipe from the lady with the two dogs. If you want mom will past it one to your mom.
We are putting you in our prayers, Leaving you with lots of healing prayers.

mom and dad were just chilling out today ...dad was watching a football game...mom did laundry and changed sheets meeko & rosie love helping her...mom and dad had a wonderful new year's eve night their daughter made a prime rib and lobsters, there were only 3 couples so it was a quiet night....hope you had a nice day...leaving a vote, peace, luv and angel puppy kisses....angel lita
