love the smilebox!! mom sent it to her sister too hope you dont mind. Seems like we might have gotten a bit caught up. I swear I don’t know how mom does it when we get so far behind. We had hoped it would rain today, but still nothing. They say we have a chance again tomorrow. mom sure hopes it does. If not she will have to water the front plants. And that takes about 2 hours. The pups are all feeling better after mom overdosed them on pork. And Connie is still getting better. Opa works his last 3 days this coming week. Oma said she is going to have to do a really big cleaning since she has to be quiet when opa is home. hehe. how is your weather today? how will it be this week? We are supposed to cool off later this week. Boy me and mom are going to love that. don’t know if we have anything going on this week. But I am pretty sure we will get out and about at some time. I have some more of that shredded pork for you tonight. Should be the last of it, hehe. and here is some cheesy pasta too. saluting all our troops past and present for their sacrifices. Vote 7118 and Happy Memorial Day:) We just visited Daisy and Bandit..did Punkin have kittens? You never told us! We sure hope you can find homes for them ..your Mommy has so much to do already. We went swimming today and were swimming last Thursday and Friday..we think we are in heaven:) How is your Mommy's back..we read it was hurting on the weekend. Any chance your Mommy was able to find a better price for the K9 Advantix II ? Mommy has to be in Ottawa most of the day tomorrow for an US of her thyroid, blood work and lots of errands. Too hot for us to go, so we will be home alone:( Wish you would come keep us company. Ty and Chance could snuggle on the Sofa ♥

We are so glad you have such beautiful little kitties. Also happy your mommy can relax now and be able to sleep and give you your love. Her Smilebox is beautiful and so much time and loss of sleep to make it for all of us. She is such a sweet Momma for all her darlings isn't she,even us? Don't tell her we said that Ok!! Now she is having problems with the daddy of the babies stealing one of them and putting it in a cage with him. I never heard of that have you? We were afraid he would eat them, but he gets the same kitty all the time. Rest now and make your momma rest too. We love you both!!...............Bandit,Daisy & Hootie

Hi! Cessna & Chance! I only sign in about once a week now - just to busy - trying to get all the yardwork done. That is not really true because we have had days of rain so not much is getting done but we will have a fine crop of weeds.
My Mom and Dad are going away for 3 or 4 weeks in July so I will have to stay off the computer while they are away - my pawrents just don't trust me to be on the computer unsupervised. They will have someone stay here at the house to look after me and the fish and the house.

Hi Cessna!
Mommy spent over three hours with me this morning. it was really nice. It ws cool so she st and read a book. It will probebly be really hot this afternoon though. The cat rolled in chalk and he is pink. He looks really funny.

happy Memorial Day Weekend
loved chatting today. here is a recap again, hehe. Well it looks like we have fallen off the face of the earth. But we didn’t. and of course it is all mom’s fault. She has had a tough time this last week. Way too hot for her brain to work right. Ok I know it never works right, but you know what I mean. We have had a busy week too. we will try to do better this week, but until the heat breaks I am not so sure. mom’s sisnlaw had a pacemaker put in on Thursday. She is doing really well and getting better every day. opa was told on Wednesday that they are outsourcing his job. So his last day is next Thursday. Not much notice and not too happy about that. he is actually retired from the air guard, but he loved going to work 3 days a week. Oh well. the other day me, mom and oma were out and about. Some crazy lady started screaming at us that oma had hit her car. she was crazy. We never touched her car. she ran out saying we put a dent in her passenger side door without ever even looking at it. mom was not happy. but we will let the insurance handle that. the a/c in the garage went out. that is where the big dogs are when it is hot or cold. They have a big pen and a big person mattress and stuff in there. so a new and bigger one was bought. Yesterday opa and oma picked up 2 pork boston butts. I couldn’t have any, pooh. But they had a bunch for the big dogs. Well mom made a mistake and gave Baby Louie and Jennie too much. today they both have really upset tummies. I got to the library park once and the church field a few times last week. Mom says we will not be going to the library park until school is back in though. the kids are there during the day, they have summer stuff for them. mom says it would not be fun for us, so the church field is where we will go for the summer. Too hot tomorrow to do anything though. I guess that is about it for us. Sorry we haven’t been around, but here we are. Dropping off a bunch of shredded pork and some cheesy bread for you. wishing you an awesome night and a fabulous tomorrow. remembering all those that have given so much for us to have our freedom. Hope you are having a great weekend so far.
Wow!!! I was so surprised to see myself in the DOTD window today. Thank you to all who dropped by to wish me a Happy Birthday yesterday & for the congratulations today.
This was truly one of the best birthday’s ever. This time last year mom had her doubts about me making it to my fourth birthday. But here I am 100% better since being diagnosed with Addisons. As long as I get my monthly injections & take my daily meds, life should be wonderful for me. Mom has even talked to the neurologist about weaning me off the anti-seizure meds. We are hoping that my episodes which haven’t repeated since being treated for Addisons are over & that I really don’t have Epilepsy also. It will take 4 months to wean me off the anti-seizure meds. If however after reducing my seizure meds, I start to have seizures again then I will know for sure that I in fact have Epilepsy & will need to take the anti-seizure meds for life. So for us this truly has been a birthday to celebrate.
So for my birthday yesterday, I got this mighty dog toy that is supposed to be really hard to chew up. Towards the end of the day, the toy was still all in one piece so mom was congratulating herself on having picked out that particular toy. But I knew there had to be a vulnerable spot on the stuffed toy. After much chewing to no avail, I stood on top of the toy with my full weight & tore into the bottom of the feet pulling as hard as I could. I had the vulnerable spot & was one happy dog destroying & de-stuffing the toy that was supposed to be so tuff that it discouraged chewing. I think those toy makers just don’t have the right toy testers. I think they should hire me to test the toys because if it’s Regis proof then it really is indestructible.
And to top of my perfect birthday, I managed to snag paper towels off the counter. So we had a paper fest. Money also managed to score us some empty toilet paper rolls. When mom opened the bathroom cabinet, Money was quick as lighting & got us out some rolls. You have to admire how fast Money is when TP rolls are involved. It was like he morphed into the Flash or something.
