HI Sweetheart Brandon

Oh we understood that your mommy was very busy at the end of the school year. We loved watching you play in the pond at the dog park. Mommy can't seem to get enough of Muffin enjoying the hose and water. She said it was soooo cute. I told her you and I are so much cuter. hehe. Mommy has been busy this month too so I haven't been on as much as usual. We do have something to share with you and mommy said we will send your mommy an email. I sure am happy you came by to see me today. Love and lots of hugs and golden kisses,Cessna

Hi! Muffin Brandon Peanut

Hi! Here is a quick vote, thanks for stopping by :) Today I got to play outside. I got an upset stomach so mom is watching me, had to go out 6 times today :( Oh well, I had a fun day with mom though. Today was raining, until this evening where it is still a bit dark, but a bit of sun came out :) It should stay like this for another week, and hopefully change into some 80s and sunny weather :) How is your weather? Hope its in your liking!! Can I ask a favor? My horse brother Quincy is setting a goal to reach 9000 votes. Not by a certain date, he would just like to reach it. Would you be able to jump over to HC and just drop off a vote, even if they are silent. If you can, no pressure. It would mean so much! Please visit, Quincy #157076 on Horsechannel Please vote Skye(#216484) on June 1st for a DOTD winning date on June 2nd. A beautiful Assie with two sky blue eyes. A dear friend to me! All votes greatly appreciated!! SB

Hi Muffin Brandon & Peanut

Happy Thursday. Hope all is well at your house. Abbie has not been feeling well. She was throwing up, wouldn’t eat & had diarrhea. Mom gave her some Pepto and started her on hamburger & rice. She seems to be feeling better now. Her tummy has been acting up off & on over the past few months. It may be her anal glands causing the problems. She has been to the vet just about once a month a lately to get her glands emptied. But mom is thinking that it might also be the result of the Science Diet food that she has been eating. Mom has been feeding Money, Abbie & Pooh the Science Diet food that I won since Halloween in October. So Abbie will now be eating the same food that I eat. Since my food is made for dogs with allergies & sensitive stomachs, mom is hoping that Abbie will no longer have the tummy issues. My liquid anti-seizure meds arrived today. So in the morning I will begin the tapering off process. I haven’t ever had any liquid medication so hopefully I will take it without any problems. Since I have been taking pills 3 times a day for the past 3 months, I automatically open my mouth for mom so that all she has to do is pop the pill in. Somehow I think getting the liquid down mw may be a lot more difficult. Oh well, I guess if I won’t take the liquid then mom can always soak the liquid up with a paper towel & feed me the paper towel. We all know that I wouldn’t have any problems eating the paper towel. Good Evening, Muffin, Brandon & Peanut!

Whew! WHAT a busy month May has been for us. I'm planning on blogging much more this June, but I wanted to start off early and let you all know how we have been doing today! First off, I have a LOT of new photos so come by soon and check them out :) Secondly, I have some bad news. Mom had to sell our cows, Annie (the calf) and Claire (the mother), because it was all too much work and commitment. We have so many animals.. over 100 chickens, a duck, a goose, a steer (Claire's twin brother, whom we're keeping), two alpacas, two cats, a budgie and we dogs. So instead of wasting a perfectly good milking cow (Claire) and a possibly good future milking cow (Annie), we sold them to a dairy farm down the road. Mom's dad, whom she still lives with, is friends with the farmers so we know that the two went to a very good home. Mom of course misses them both (especially little Annie) VERY much, but we had passed our limit on how many pets we can have. Another exciting thing is that we got 66 chicks on Tuesday!! All but five are going to be for meat, so they aren't pets that will hold the family down. For those who know the breeds of chickens, we got Jersey Giants, Dark Cornish and Brown Leghorn. YET another thing that has us on our toes, is that we have a hen that has been brooding a clutch of eggs. Well the first baby hatched either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning (we found the chick on Wed. morning)! Mom and I have been keeping a close eye on the other eggs. This afternoon, another chick was trying to hatch. And while you're not supposed to intervene, Mom helped #2 get out of the shell because it was taking so very long. Turns out, it might have a deformed leg (hard to tell right now, but she's pretty sure) so Mom wonders if it would have been capable of breaking through the shell by itself. Now we've got a #3 peeping in it's shell. I love helping Mom take care of chicks! Well this blog is getting SUPER long, so I'll have to get going now. Anyway, I'm ecstatic to be back on DC, and maybe I'll be blogging every day now? We'll see! Pawing a vote for you .. have a wonderful night dear friend :) Border Collie Kisses, Ruby Tuesday Rose ♥ xoxo
